FITCHBURG -- Authorities are warning people about a deadly batch of heroin being used in Fitchburg that claimed the lives of two people Friday.

Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. and Fitchburg Police Chief Ernest F. Martineau said two people died from heroin overdoses Friday. There were six overdoses Saturday in an eight-hour span. None of Saturday's overdoses have been fatal.
"People who are addicted to heroin and their families and friends should be aware that heroin on the streets of Fitchburg this weekend could cause an overdose or death," authorities said in a news release.

  1. If you think your kid is in trouble, it is time for you to talk to them.. It has been said "honesty is the best policy", so you have more to loose than gain by ignoring what is happening under your nose. The road you will travel is not easy but hopefully things will work out for you both.
