Gee, it sure does look like everyone else can do with a lot less. How come we can't ? Oh yes, our Board of Health members have not faced the reality that the money is not there, and it does not look like it will come back any time soon. I feel bad for Mr. Leger because he would like to keep his full time position and the benefits that go with it, but the reality is the good times have gone, along with the building boom. This is the trouble with these contract jobs, here today and gone tomorrow. I suppose we will have a go around with the BOH members, because they like the Light and Water Commissioners, think they are independant. The thing is, we pay the bills, so I hope the BOH members can figure this out them selves. Bev.
ReplyDeleteThere is absolutely no question that we are spending way too much money on the BOH. It is clear that a change must happen to get this board back to where they should be.
