Bond Payment

Bond Payment

On June 15, 2014 the Town of Templeton has a bond payment. In order to make this bond payment, the tax rate must certified so the tax bills can be sent out to residents.

In order to set the tax rate, the votes taken at the annual town meeting on May 17th need to be certified by the town clerk. The town meeting must be adjourned/concluded in order for the town clerk to certify these votes.

No tax rate = no bond payment.  No the bond payment = default on bond. Default on bond = no new school, among other things.

My opinions...based on FACTS ! ! !
