News! CPC money to repair the roof, the drainage and to replace the boiler at
East Templeton Elementary School was approved last night.
If

I have the truck !! Maybe it would be a good time for Dana to volunteer, but don't count on it. It will be a good day when people can ask "Where is your town hall ?" and we can show the way. It has been a long time coming !!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to see a call for volunteers for the move! I hope all the other selectmen will share this survey on their pages and blogs as well. We need all hands on deck to get this move completed. And it would be really nice to see everyone putting their personal differences aside (and egos too) and literally working side by side on a common goal. Taking sides, calling names and arguing solves nothing. And it won't get the job done. It would be a good example to show the young people of our community that the adults are capable of coming together and addressing the needs in tough times. We may be broke and cannot throw money at this situation. But, we have manpower and good intentions which can also be quite valuable. We can't rely on town officials to solve all the town's problems. Its up to the citizens to do their part as well. I also have a truck and I'm willing to help in any way that is needed.

I have 4 responses to the survey so far. I have received a few inquiries my email. My goal is to organize a cleanup for this weekend. Thank you to everyone who has responded.
