  1. All of the programs Bethany has written about are important to everyone in our town. So you don't think the Senior Center matters ? In a heart beat you will find yourself edging toward the 50's, and before you know it you are sixty. I remember when I thought 65 was old. It is, in a way, but because we have much better medicines and health care, compared to the people who are buried in the older part of any of the town's cemeteries, we will live much longer. Programs that Bethany puts on provide entertainment and fellowship. These programs also give a hand to those who need a little extra help to make it through the month. I understand many of the older people in our community did not make the money the younger people make today. I also know it is hard to stretch the money we receive from the beginning of the month to the end, so that is why the SNAP Program may be of some help. If you are a veteran, go to see our new agent John Caplis. He may be able to give you a hand to make sure you are receiving the benefits you deserve. It seems our last agent did not do such a good job. Don't forget to thank Bethany and John for the good job they are doing. Bev.
