...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO
3 PM EST TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW...SLEET AND LIGHT
FREEZING RAIN...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 3 PM
EST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* LOCATIONS...PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL
MASSACHUSETTS.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION 2 TO 5 INCHES ALONG WITH LIGHT
ICING.





* TIMING...FREEZING DRIZZLE POSSIBLE TONIGHT...WITH THE HEAVIEST
ACCUMULATION FROM MID MORNING TUESDAY INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS.

* IMPACTS...DIFFICULT TRAVEL DUE TO POOR VISIBILITY AND SLIPPERY
ROADS.

* WINDS...NORTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...IN THE LOWER 30S.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS ISSUED FOR MINOR ACCUMULATIONS OF
SNOW OR ICE. THIS USUALLY RESULTS IN SLOWER THAN NORMAL TRAVEL DUE
TO SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS. DRIVERS SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TIME AND
BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
