A winter-storm will pass south of New England Monday into Monday night delivering a modest to heavy snowfall over a majority of Southern New England with a wintry-mix possible across south-shoreline areas including Cape Cod and Islands before all is said and done by Tuesday morning.

  • Difficult travel conditions expected for both morning and afternoon/evening commutes on Monday
  • Adverse changing road conditions, slick-slippery travel, low to near-zero visibilities even with expected
    blowing and drifting of snow / around 1-inch per hour snowfall rates

o Be highest along a swath centered around the Mass-Pike; amounts 10-14 inches
