Largest Heroin Seizure in State’s History

United States Attorney John P. Kacavas said it is the largest heroin bust in the State’s History. Kacavas said of the drug arrests over this past weekend where Federal, State, and local authorities seized three and a half kilos of heroin, a half of kilo of Cocaine, and 88 oxycodone pills following. The arrest follows a two year long investigation into the trafficking of heroin and cocaine in the Keene area. Those arrested are:
Ross Gould, age 28, of 61 B Prospect Street, Richmond New Hampshire, was
arrested for unlawful possession of heroin,
Jamie Hilow, age 28, of 15 High Street, Winchester, New Hampshire, was arrested
for unlawful distribution of heroin,
Jaclyn Hilow, age 29, of 15 High Street, Winchester, New Hampshire, was arrested
for unlawful distribution of heroin,
Jason Daigle, age 38, 79 Prospect Hill Road, Richmond, New Hampshire, was
arrested for engaging in a conspiracy to distribute heroin
Brandon Rivers, age 29, 49-51 Howard Street, Keene, New Hampshire, was arrested
for engaging in a conspiracy to distribute heroin.
Jonathan Cruz-Marte, age 32, of 52 Howard Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts, was
arrested for engaging in a conspiracy to distribute heroin
Felix Portes, age 56, of 227 Bailey Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts, was arrested for
engaging in a conspiracy to distribute heroin
Pedro Pena, age 37, 125 Chestnut Street, Lawrence
In addition to the arrest of these individuals, fourteen firearms and 1and 1/2 kilos of heroin and ½ Kilo of cocaine were seized at Gould’s residence. An additional 2 Kilo’s of heroin was seized at the Rockingham Mall Parking lot in Salem, which was used as a distribution point for the drugs going into Cheshire County.
Conducting the investigation was the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire; Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Homeland Security Investigations;New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,Firearms and Explosives,New Hampshire State Police, Keene, New Hampshire Police Department; Richmond, New Hampshire Police Department; and Salem, New Hampshire Police Department. In addition, members of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the United States Marshals Service assisted the above-referenced agencies in making the arrests. All are in custody and being held under federal drug violations. United States Attorney John P. Kacavas said heroin pipeline into Cheshire County has been shut down. NH is the third highest state in opiate abuse and the 49 for treatment
