My Name is Paul H Cosentino. I started this Blog in 2011 because of what I believe to be wrongdoings in town government. This Blog is to keep the citizens of Templeton informed. It is also for the citizens of Templeton to post their comments and concerns.
It is time for some kind of structure to be put into place at "our Town Hall." Who keeps a eye on how much time these people actually work ?? It is time for some good old Simplex Time clocks to be put in place. Giving a worker a title, usually does not work. How does one go from a worker to the boss, and expect their peers to listen or respect them ?? With no authority to keep a eye on things, I can not see how we can expect reports to be on time, or how people can get their taxes paid. I do know we have people who just started working for the Town. I can't see how they could have earned time off. I certainly hope this time does not come with pay.
lets calm down for a minute here. the office is open Monday thru Thursday, closed Friday. Christmas and new years were on Friday. so you are "losing" you day off. everyone has it off. you are entitled to have your day off. so its Monday!!!!! anyone remotely involved with a union of any kind, and I am VERY anti union, gets the same treatment.
So Brad now that everyone has calmed down How do the people on 4 day week get the holiday pay? Thusday 7-11 would need a 6 hour holiday pay to get their pay to the 7-5 normal. Do they get the 8+6 hours paid Or do they get what others get and a 8+4 hour holiday pay? for Christmas and new years? Being the 1/2 day off on Thursday would should start 4 hours before the end of day? If we could see the time cards we would have that answer.
