Before this Board makes any more decisions, they need to figure out where the money for all of these projects are going to come from?? I would say that is a good question. With out the funds, there will not be much left over to run the Town after the fixed costs are paid. How much "found money" will be left laying around is hard to say. Of course the Administrator always has his slush fund to raid, illegal as it is. The money that could come from the Fire Department is in danger of being lost, thanks to the BOS giving Ray the boot. I do not believe this man deserved to be treated the way he was. I do believe the "superior board" has done a grave disservice to this Town and this man. Believe me, they had to dig deep, very deep to find a reason to put him on paid leave, {even their reason leave great doubt} with the aim at not reappointing him. The Town of Barre is not alone in treating people behaving badly. No community grows with this kind of destructive leadership. I just wish people would learn that lesson.
