Bend Over: The Unpopular Opinion on Vaccines

Bend Over: The Unpopular Opinion on Vaccines

Before you jump to any conclusions, I am not anti-vaccine. My family has had some vaccinations, but I wouldn’t exactly call myself pro-vaccine either…
Vaccinations have been a controversial topic in the natural health world for a long time and they’ve recently been under a lot of mainstream scrutiny as well. But do they really help or do they do more harm than good?
Vaccinating children every year is a multi-billion dollar annual business for the pharmaceutical companies. Think about it. The more vaccines they can convince the government to recommend or require, the more money they make.
This explains why in the last 25 years the amount of vaccines given to children under 6 has increased dramatically, even though the occurrence of many of these diseases still remains extremely rare.  When I was a kid in 1983 the recommended vaccine schedule was 11 doses of 4 vaccines.
The 2017 schedule for American children is 50 doses of 14 vaccines before they turn 6. And they will have a total of 69 doses of 16 vaccines by age 18.
Sometimes as many as 12 vaccines are given in a single visit!

If you think that’s a lot, you should know that even more are in development. Not because we need them, but because pharmaceutical companies want to sell more vaccines.

And many of the vaccines administered today are for low-risk, non-fatal, or diseases that are practically non-existent in First World countries. Chicken Pox, a disease most of us had growing up, is now a vaccine required by the government (insert pharmaceutical executive high-fives here) and it is not even guaranteed to work.

Natural exposure to bacteria, viruses, and germs produces a stronger immune system that can protect you from degenerative disease in later years. Vaccines only provide temporary immunity. Remember Chicken Pox parties? I’m all for ’em! I would much rather my kids get chicken pox than get the chicken pox vaccine.

Ever wondered what’s in a vaccine? Here’s a partial list :

Lab altered viruses and bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, gluteraldehyde, sodium borate, sodium chloride, sodium acetate, monosodium glutamate (MSG), hydrochloric acid, lactose, gelatin, yeast protein, egg albumin, bovine and human serum albumin (DNA from humans and cows), antibiotics, unidentified contaminants, and more.

What about mercury? Thimerosal is a 49% mercury-based preservative still present in some vaccines that has been linked to various brain, gut and immune system disorders.
(Read this post on the dangers of mercury)

And while the pharmaceutical industry has published their own studies “proving” that there is no connection, scores of mothers of vaccine-injured children continue to come forward year after year with testimonies of vaccine-related injuries, including autism.

Meanwhile the rate of autism in the unvaccinated communities, like the amish, is nearly zero.
According to the National Vaccine Information Center:

– In 1970 1 of every 2500 children developed autism.
– Today 1 of  every 150 children develop autism.
Not only that, but today more children have learning disabilities, ADHD, allergies, asthma, diabetes, and sickness in general. 1-in-4 kids today is taking some type of prescription medication.

Something is happening…

There are some people that get very upset about the vaccine and autism issue. Before you get all huffy and puffy, let me be clear. I’m not saying vaccines cause autism. What I am saying is that vaccines contain the toxins listed above, and some of them like aluminum and mercury are directly linked to brain and immune system disorders including autism. In a “perfect storm” situation, depending on what other environmental toxins a baby is exposed to, the ingredients in vaccines and the high fever sometimes caused by vaccines could cause an adverse reaction with lasting health effects. That is something we want to avoid. To see which vaccines still contain mercury, go here.

Most folks who are quick to criticize anyone who suggests vaccines may not be safe don’t know about The 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act.

This was passed by Congress to compensate families for vaccine-related injuries or deaths. Yes it really was. The good thing about it is that it legitimized the fact that vaccines can cause harm. The bad thing is it actually protects the pharmaceutical industry from being sued and uses our tax dollars to compensate victims. Not cool. Read more about it here.

Now there are some people who say you should never vaccinate your child. But the reality is there are children in third world countries dying for lack of some vaccines. As a parent it becomes a very difficult decision once you are exposed to information like this.

I’ve heard some people dismiss this issue and say, “Fear is not from God,” I agree! So do you let your young children play with knives and matches? Do you leave them alone at the park? Do you let them play in traffic?
Of course not.

As parents we trust God to protect our children from harm, but we also participate in the process.

It’s important to address vaccinations not from a position of fear, but with wisdom; not blindly trusting the government and the billion dollar pharmaceutical industry to operate with your family’s best interest in mind.

Here’s what my wife and I did:

Our children did not get the Hepatitis B vaccine (typically given at the hospital within 12 hours after birth because it was unnecessary and has been linked to an increased risk of neurological damage and even Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Pregnant mothers are routinely tested for Hepatitis B. If the mother doesn’t have Hep B, the child is not at risk. But when I politely told the nurse that we didn’t want our first daughter Marin to get the Hep Bvaccine the day she was born the nurse got nasty and said, “Well I hope your baby doesn’t die!”

What kind of person says that to the parents of a 1-day old baby? Needless to say, I did not take it well and I kicked her out of the room and reported her to her supervisor.

As for the rest of the vaccines, we waited longer to get the shots and spaced them further apart. I suggest you look at the current recommended vaccination schedule, read up on the risks and side effects of each vaccine, use your own discretion, and make a plan that you are comfortable with. You can find an alternate vaccine schedule in The Vaccine Book by Dr. Robert Sears MD.

Dr. Sears is not alone. There is a growing contingent of medical doctors who have boldly come forward to question the current American vaccine system.

Fortunately our pediatrician was very understanding and easy to work with. If yours isn’t, find a new one. Older pediatricians are typically much more laid back, than the younger know-it-alls.

We do not get annual flu shots for several reasons…

Flu shots contain mercury/thimerosal. There’s no guarantee that the vaccine will even work as they are manufactured from the previous years strains. And they wear off, which is why vaccine manufacturers recommend you get one every year. Exhibit A: We all know people who got a flu shot and still got the flu!

Everyone in my family has had the flu at some point in the last decade. It’s certainly no fun, but I believe we are all healthier and stronger because of it.

Remember the Bird Flu and the H1N1 Swine Flu?

The pharmaceutical industry convinced the CDC, Homeland Security, and other government agencies that these flu strains would be a global pandemic and a “public health emergency” was declared. Of course the media had a field day, reporting on it every day for months.

Fear and hysteria opens the door for pharmaceutical companies to produce “emergency vaccines” and rush them to market with only a few weeks testing on few hundred people.

Needless to say, with government support and funding, vaccines are a grand slam profit for pharmaceutical companies.

The reality is that there are billions of dollars of profit behind vaccines, so don’t be naive. A lot of money is spent to influence research, government agencies, and the media to keep the vaccine industry profitable.
We aren’t afraid of unvaccinated people

The idea that unvaccinated kids pose a threat is illogical. Just think about it for one second. If vaccines work, then vaccinated children and adults have nothing to worry about. The only people at risk are the unvaccinated. I’ve met lots of kids and adults who were never vaccinated and have never contracted any of the vaccine diseases (except for maybe the flu and chicken pox).
Measles perspective
In 2012, there were 55 cases of measles in the U.S. In 2013, there were 187. In 2014, there was a “large outbreak”. 667 cases were reported mainly among unvaccinated Amish communities in Ohio.  And people freaked out. Then in 2015, the number of cases dropped to 188 (that was the year of the Disneyland outbreak) and in 2016, there were only 70 cases.
According to the CDC, “the majority of these measles outbreaks were in in the unvaccinated.” But the word “majority” is a bit of an exaggeration. A JAMA study found that since the year 2000, 57% of the measles outbreaks have been in unvaccinated people, and 43% of the cases WERE vaccinated, which means the measles vaccine didn’t work…
The Polio Vaccine Cancer Connection

In the 1950s, millions of children were injected with polio vaccines contaminated with a cancer-causing virus from monkeys called Simian Virus 40 (SV40). How did this happen? Pharmaceutical companies used kidney cells from rhesus monkeys to quickly grow and harvest the large quantities of the virus needed to produce the polio vaccines.

In July 2002, the National Academy of Science Institute of Medicine (IOM) Immunization Safety Committee convened a study into SV40 and cancer which led to a report published in October 2002 entitled “SV40 Contamination of Polio Vaccine and Cancer” and according to this report:

“The committee concludes that the biological evidence is strong that SV40 is a transforming [i.e., cancer-causing] virus, . . . that the biological evidence is of moderate strength that SV40 exposure could lead to cancer in humans under natural conditions, [and] that the biological evidence is of moderate strength that SV40 exposure from the polio vaccine is related to SV40 infection in humans.”

Don’t miss The Truth About Vaccines in April 2017.
My good friend Ty Bollinger and his team from the Truth About Cancer have created a brand new documentary series called The Truth About Vaccines. They’ve assembled an incredible roster of experts, researchers, medical doctors and scientists to shine a light on the vaccine issue from every possible angle.

This is an exciting time because I believe we are about to see a massive shift in public opinion about vaccine policy, that will hopefully put enormous pressure on the government to root out the corruption and collusion, and make safe effective vaccines a priority.

The series will air FREE online starting April 12th, 2017.

Addendum:
I knew a post like this would ruffle some feathers, which I’m ok with. I do this to share information that I believe is important. People often ask my opinion on the vaccine issue, so there it is.

Immediately after posting this I received some angry messages and comments, the majority of which were from people who didn’t even read the whole article and assumed that we didn’t vaccinate our kids and are telling others not to vaccinate. One person claiming to be autistic even accused me of promoting genocide to rid the world of autistic people. Really?

While those types of comments are entertaining, if they don’t add value to the post, they won’t be approved.

Having said all that, I would love to know what you think.
