Ground Hog Day

Ground Hog Day

More of the same at the "select few" meeting last night.

Looks like the shared Town Administrator deal with Winchendon is off the table...for now.

Back to Carter Terenzini ....again? How many times has the "select few" extended his contract?

Anyway, why not ask the good people of Templeton what THEY think at the next special town meeting in the fall? Maybe read the agreement? Maybe get the agreement reviewed by Town Counsel?

What are the options?

The "select few" run the town until a FT town administrator is hired. (It's been done before.)

Contact the DOR for guidance.

Contact Small Town Administrators Of Massachusetts for help.

Look at other contiguous communities who are searching for a town administrator...

  1. I wonder who will be scapegoated as the problem.

    1. "Oh my, do their job ?? Really run the town ? Oh, maybe they would want to get paid. Gee, I remember Glady's, Jeff and Julie in the office every day. Isn't that part of the job ? Don't run if you can't do the job !

  2. Just read the agreement addendum, damn. I want to negotiate with the BOS. Carters weekly pay goes up 25% and his hours go down from 26 to 16 for what? Roughly $30 more an hour, really, no wonder Selectman Fortes left the room...............
