TA Report 12/28/17

Still seems to be a problem with adhering to Chapter 30B rules and regulations. Time for another refresher course from the Inspector General? This issue on non-compliance with Chapter 30B is rather disconcerting since the Town of Templeton is undertaking the largest and most expensive capital project in its history - the Elementary School.

No Bond rating, non-compliance with Chapter 30B...what could go wrong? Everything is AWESOME!

Speaking of Awesome, the "Building Department worked on getting plans for the school ready to be sent out for review. Admin worked with inspectors to ensure that correct codes and specifications were met."

"Building Department worked on getting plans for the school ready to be sent out for review..."

If the plans are being sent out for review, why the rush to add $25,000 in Free Cash to Inspectional Services at the last Special Town Meeting in November ( 11/14/17)? Double dipping? No one will ever know due to the changes in how the Budget to Actual is now reported.
