You should know that our own Alan Mayo, Superintendent of Cemetary and Parks has been chosen to be a recipient of the Joao Rodrigues Distinguished Service award. The award date is Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Orleans, MA. I realize not many people can attend the award ceremony, I thought it worth while to give Alan the recognition he deserves.
