CHIPS CHIPS WHO WILL BRING US THE WOOD CHIPS

CHIPS CHIPS WHO WILL BRING US THE WOOD CHIPS

Are wood chips  the  fuel for the NRHS/NRMS new wood chip boiler system?
Are wood pellets the fuel for the NRHS/NRMS new wood chip boiler system?
What were we told and what should we believe?
How much are they going to cost us or do they know that yet.
To see the fall of oil prices and know the math for this new system doesn’t work like we were sold it would tells me we get told what we need to hear.
Is this also true of the new school we need now. We need to decide now or lose all funding from the state for the construction of what “they” want us to build.
Are we going to burn wood chips or wood pellets?
When do the bids get opened?
Who will pay the fees for the propane problem.
Rumor has it a 30,000.00 amount needs to be paid for a issue with this state of the art system.
If NRSD needed the new chip system to save money when will we get the real amount it will cost us to try a idea we should have thought about more than we did.
Without the price of oil going up like they figured it would we were sold a more expensive way to heat the school and will cause the budget they through at us to climb year after year.
Higher taxes will continue to be the reason to cut town budgets to keep pace with what the NRSD wants.
Do we think the cost per student should be passed off to the taxpayers or should the system have a limit to increase what they want/need.
As Bernie H. taught us the school people will tell us what we need to hear to get what they want.
True or false info will be for us to figure out and vote on. The words under effort was the past code name for shame them into more and more money.

Come to the meeting tomorrow and see what you’re told you need to hear. After all the people who are getting paid the 100s of thousands to tell you will be sure to show up.

  1. Hard to believe the wood chip boiler didn't turn out to be the modern miracle we were told it would be.

We were also told that the price of oil would never go down.

We were told the price of wood chips would be 20 dollars/ton

We were told that propane would only be used for backup and the shoulder months for heating.

Have all the "savings" form this project been spent?

Is it time to raid Templeton's budget using the nuclear option?

    1. The very worse thing about last years "wood chip deal", was the fact the price for wood chips never went out for bid, at least to the best of my knowledge. My neighbor is the biggest logger in the area, and processes wood chips for the boiler in Westminster. He never got a call or a letter asking if he would be interested in the job.Could he do the job cheaper ? You can bet your life on it ! How are we going to heat the Templeton Center Monster if it is going to be built ? I guess no one asked. Maybe they were trying to recover from the Disney Land ride they took us on. I know it took me a few minutes to recover. This is not Disney Land for sure, so be early and use your right to vote. Bev.
