My Name is Paul H Cosentino. I started this Blog in 2011 because of what I believe to be wrongdoings in town government. This Blog is to keep the citizens of Templeton informed. It is also for the citizens of Templeton to post their comments and concerns.
If I remember right the salaries of Templeton workers were always listed in the Annual Report until Selectmen Haley Brooks decided it was not any of our business. It is your dime !
Personally I think as a taxpayer/employer of these people I think we have a right to know what we are paying for specific positions. I'll say this, I dont care if the names are attached or not, but the pay along with job description/position is a bare minimum requirement for anyone reviewing a budget. If you think not I refer to Dr. Casavant who specified that the districts employee costs should be 60-70% of the budget based on averages. If you think turning a blind eye towards 3/4 of your budget is good financial planning I would ask that you not apply for Advisory Committee, Selectboard, or any taxpayer funded employment.
