  1. went to the craft fair (was awesome ) parked behind the school and walked around the the school and was shocked on how the school dept takes care of there buildings ..just run them into the ground and painting is not a priority ..so you guys want a new school to run in the ground ..OK EVERYBODY NEEDS TO WALK AROUND THE SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND SEE HOW THEY ARE MAINTAINED AND JUDGE FOR YOUR SELF!!

  2. I understand what you mean. When i offered some time ago to donate my time to paint at Templeton Center school with the bucket truck. I was told if it looks to good the chance for a new school won't be as good. The open house and other events are a way to show the need for the new one. I would think the price for the new school would be lower but like every time we go to do something the price gets higher and higher. I agree we need a new school but as you point out we also need a way to manage the upkeep and care of it. I think we are not served in our best interests when the buildings are left to fall in a state they are now in.OK EVERYBODY NEEDS TO WALK AROUND THE SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND SEE HOW THEY ARE MAINTAINED. YOU BE THE JUDGE!

    1. This article reminds me of the meetings we attended a few years ago at the school building in Baldwinville. When we were going to leave the gym it was dark out. Not one light to help you see !! The driveway was full of ruts and was almost impossible to walk on. After I got to my car, I turned the lights on so people could see. I was afraid someone would get seriously hurt. This game that the school people play, (see how much we don't have to fix so the town has to) is getting pretty dam old to me. To say the trim on T.C School is part of the roof so they don't have to paint it, is not the least bit funny. I think the year they had a craft fair at the high school, and the buckets were all over the floor in the cafeteria catching water as it ran from the ceiling, was about as bad as it could be. Yes I know that was a long time ago, but not much has changed. You would think the people in charge would have be embarrassed by all of this. If you are a outsider why should you care ?? Go to East Templeton and see what paint and some elbow grease can accomplish. What was the reason these people decided to close that school again ?? Oh yes, so they could say the other schools were over crowded !! Give us all a break, and clean up your act. Bev.
