The Conservation meeting tonight looks interesting. Dave Crispin from BSC Group will be presenting a plan on decommissioning the waste water treatment plant at the Templeton Developmental Center.
ReplyDeleteCould have sworn DCAMM was going to do an analysis of the sewer system when they take over at the end of the month. What could be going on?

Seeing that the TDC has left a good number of buildings standing, it makes no sense for them to decommission the plant. The buildings are in good shape, but it is sad the infrastructure was not maintained by the people in charge. So now it seems, the administration is in a big hurry to destroy the waste water plant, and fill the lines with concrete, leaving the abandoned buildings to fall down. Maybe it is a plan to stick the future people who will be responsible for the place with the expense of cleaning up after the TDC. We can't let that happen. We need to protect the town from any extra expense that is not necessary. Bev.
