Good News!

  1. Lets hope this money is used wisely. We have some roads in town that are a embarrassment to us all. Partridgeville Road is barely passable because half of it is sinking into the swamp. Some roads need to have their cracks filled to prevent more erosion. It is time that the highway dept. sticks to taking care of the roads(our roads), and nothing else. I give Bud credit for the work his men have done with little in the way of equipment, and being dragged off to do other projects. This extra money should help with getting back on track. Bev.

  2. The Templeton Developmental Ctr. has been on a push to try to get the town to take over the care of their road The road along with security, would push our town beyond what it is able to handle, in my opinion. They are trying to say that the road going through the center of the TDC, is a town road. All I know is, on the rare occasion I had to ride through there, the car was stopped and security asked what I was doing there. Now that is not what I would call a public way. Security is another matter. We will try our best to get funding for any extra help that is needed for our town to be involved, if push comes to shove. I do not think any of this needs to be on the tax payers dime. Bev.
