Is this gravel pit in Templeton?

Is this gravel pit permitted?

  1. Are our tax dollars going to another city when our town could use every cent we get?
Do our maps show a pit in use on Templeton taxable land?
Why do we look the other way?
Is it time for the town to start getting paid for the things we should?
Time to pull up some maps and see where the lines are!

  4. It looks like it has expanded in the last year or two. I believe that is Hubbardston brook to the right and Templeton brook to the left.

  5. B&C Richard Sand and Gravel Inc is the listed owner of the sandpit. Yes its in Templeton. My question is this. It was purchased in 2010 for $375,000 yet its being taxed by the town as valued at $92,000.

Why, especially if its a business?
