Freddie Monette-Harris scored 16 of his team-high 25 points in the second half to lift the third-seeded Narragansett boys’ basketball team to a nail-biting 74-72 victory over sixth-seeded Monument Mountain in a Western Mass. Division 3 quarterfinal, Thursday night, at Elinor J. Putnam Gymnasium in Baldwinville.
The Warriors (20-3) advance to the semifinals at UMass to face second-seeded Frontier at a date and time to be determined.
Damian Comeau added a career-high 19 points for ’Gansett, while senior center Ben Edwards contributed 11.
Monument Mountain ends its season with a 16-6 record.
