Call it Cushy or Parasites

In my opinion, Checkn000 is right about some people giving 100% and more. But also look at the few that are taking 100% and more. And it's been going on for a long time. But the powers that was, and the power that is, won't allow PHC Sr to do an investigation on this issue. These wrong doers in my opinion are shameless thieves and will not stop until they face jail time. Many people read my letter of complaint but, as you people that were at the selectmens meeting March 26, 2012, heard Chris Stewart say-he wants more info on the letter for an investigation. While Columbus says where is the letter in question.
And Chris Stewart wants more info. What gives? Did that five-member board read my letter as Peter Farrell was reading it out loud? Or was their mind already made up about an investigation for fear of embarrassment? I PHC Sr spelled it out, painted a picture, spent many hours with the town police chief and the state police, to be told -the board of selectmen must approve my request for an investigation. Now,that taxpayers, is "stupid" other words don't stop the wrong doings, just put a gag order on.

The budget will never be balanced if the powers that be ignored these problems that have been going on for years and the board of selectmen has been covering it up for years, not all the members but the majority as in a 3 to 2 vote, to defeat good issues. In my opinion we the voters should go to town meeting in force and vote down every article that can sink the town further in debt. Especially the 252 Baldwinville Rd. project. The town is already over there head on that project because of the voters being misinformed by the building committee. The town is in a heap of "do do" and a few townspeople still want to add to the "heap". I'm talking about the flatlanders that don't realize the problem here in Templeton. This whole mess is not going to go away for years to come. So don't kid yourself. I bought a few tickets to Friday's Powerball game $600 million, if I won that, I could get Templeton out of all its problems and still have enough left over for cold six pack of beer. Pretty good, huh?

So Bev and Bart? What core services do you need way up on South road? I mean what core services do you have way-way-up on South road? (Please comment). We pay for our water we pay for our sewage, we pay for electricity, we pay for our police and fire, our taxes pay for all other things necessary in life, us taxpayers know what's wrong, why don't we force the proper authority to listen to us? Yes an investigation from outside the Templeton, like state police detective or Fox 25 news or attorney general's office or some agency that has pride in spotting corruption. Why are our rights being violated in Templeton and nobody is listening, like our Senator or our state rep. I have contacted both and gotten no reply. How come? Isn't this in an election year? And please "Phil" do not even mention override or you won't be allowed into board of selectmen's meetings, know what I mean? Try to say it this way if an override is the only way to balance the budget, let's do it in the year 2016 that will give us taxpayers time to study the "facts" get it study the facts. Until Templeton allows a full investigation of wrongdoings, we will always be for anyone that wants to lie about mileage, hours worked, sick leave, personal days, vacation days, etc. etc. etc. our past town coordinator was accused of showing up at town Hall at 9:30-10 AM and leaving the job at 230 to 3 PM. Not including doctors appointments or other excuses. Other words a 40 hour five-day week is not a 25 our five day week, get it? Like how does that-town planner get in the 32 hour work week when she doesn't work Friday's, doesn't get in until 845-9AM and leaves at 1 PM? What would happen if everyone did that? And while we are on the subject and eight hour day does not mean 8am to 3 PM, when does one eat dinner, so a 16 hour week, two days end up to be a two day 14 hour week, pretty good huh. And so on and so on and so on. Other words if your job description requires 40 hours a week, don't work fast to change it to 30 hours per week at the same pay as a 40 hour a week. Added up on a 52-week job, I know how to keep the honest honest, buy a simple $400 timeclock for the town hall, it will pay for itself in one week in our town hall. Other words when you get to work at 9 AM you can't mark it 8am, get it? At $15-$20 per hour it won't take long to pay for a locked timeclock. And if any employee is unhappy with this system "take a hike". This timeclock system keeps the honest honest and the dishonest looking for another job. Hee-hee-hee. And to-Baldwin Templeton, I think the concept of eyes wide shut, means you can see what's going on in town but can't seem to do anything about it. Am I right or not? Like the three sitting monkeys-hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. I am just writing in layman's terms. Maybe somebody has a better explanation. Again power in numbers and also in knowledge, always wins. Example-Will Spring speaks just before saying the pledge at last week's board of selectmen's meeting. He knew what he was talking about, but the board didn't seem to catch on. But par for the course, I know Bennett knew what Will was talking about. And again taxpayers, I don't care how sentimental you are about a subject, don't vote with your heart, vote with your head. If we don't vote together to get out of this mess with the budget and that thousands of dollars being misused, the town can't go forward, only backwards. Other words we must clean up the reason for all these problems, that have plagued our town for years. And to answer a voters question, what am I PHCSr getting out of all this work? My reply to "Mark", I am getting satisfaction out of exposing the wrongdoers in town am proud to help all, even the bad taxpayers in town, save thousands of dollars on their hard earned income.

At the building committee meeting Wednesday night, did the OPM (manager) or whatever you want to call him, say us people are ignorant, did I hear it right? I'll have to ask Mr. Spring. I was writing something down on my paper and didn't quite believe what I was hearing. I think it is time to shut that whole 252 Baldwinville Rd. stupid, ignorant project down. Do the phase 2 E 21 and clean the outside area out to look good to any potential customers. And put a gag order on the people that will try to discourage anyone from buying that 252 Baldwinville Rd. building. I have a customer ready to purchase 252 Baldwinsville Rd. That would make a nice ---less bar, you know what I mean? No windows or skylights sound good, don’t you thinks so neighbors, Dennis? But as we the taxpayers are not stupid and ignorant, we cannot allow that to happen can we? "Haste makes waste" so just slow down and get the rest of our finances straightened out then we can tackle 252 Baldwinville Rd. with some serious thought. Another few months is not going to stop the world and besides we don't want to rush the phase 2 E 21 tests if you know what I mean. Us taxpayers want a phase 2 E 21 test on paper and name what chemicals are in the ground at 252 Baldwinville Rd. Would the town like to ignore the fact that chemicals may have leaked into the ground at that site? Does anyone want to know what phase 3 E 21 consists of? I don't even want to mention that fact. Some concerned citizens took a few soil samples and put them in a safe place just in case the phase 2 tests comes up iffy. Don't forget we the taxpayers are considered stupid and ignorant, so let's see what happens, right Mr. Spring. And again taxpayers I still think the East Templeton school is the best place for a town hall. Moneywise and common sense why. Take a good look at the character of that building. Who says not enough parking? This is not going to be a shopping mall it's going to be at town Hall. Make me-PHC Sr Project manager, for no fee of course, I will show all taxpayers how to make something out of that school. We can all be proud of the results. Would you taxpayers want a solid financial status, or a bogeyman town hall. Does anyone want to bet on how much longer that ET school will stand up to the elements. I say many many years and I will not let the school committee do the maintenance. Other words in layman's terms, don't wait until you are out of pots and pans to fix the leak in the roof. Get it taxpayers? And please, let's have some honest comments on my blog, now, not next year. Use a "handle" like I used to on the CB radio when I was in the trucking business. My handle was "big Moe" and big Moe wants to know, so what’s your handle going to be? Phil and Olive have good handles, how about JJ in Mike C, isteach and checkn000, Walt has been missing. Come on speak out on my blog it's not Bobby Columbus and I will not tell you to "shut up" or stick with the issue, or have chief Whittaker stand and stare at you, threatening arrest. Hee-hee-hee. We have five weeks before election time. Let's make good use of them. Don't forget your "handle" can be used by phone, e-mail, text or anything you please. It's incognito in plain layman's terms. The old CB ers (citizens band radio) was replaced by the cell phone, for instance, watch the old movie, Smokey and the bandit, they lived by the CB. So don't be afraid of retaliation "big Moe" wants to know. Get it? We don't have to wait for the Gardner news. So it's up to you people to get moving, on issues that a lot of others don't know about. Like the recall issue, by the time us working folks got the truth, the damage was done. And it is no different then what the ex-speaker of the house Dimassi did before serving his eight years in jail. Yes he deceived the people. And finally, after an investigation, he got caught. I wonder if Dimassi thinks eight years in prison was worth what he did to the people that trusted him. What about it recall people? Will an investigation, by the proper authorities point any fingers in Templeton? Just like Powerball, someone is going to win, right? I want all our attention focused on Julie Farrell, then that should allow Chris Stewart to show his true colors. Other words do honest, yes honest 3 to 2 vote for chairman of the board, Julie, Jeff, or Chris.

Thanks for reading my opinions, Pauly.

PS think about May 7 real hard every day.

    1. Oh Yes, get as many signs up for Julie as possible so we can have a Huge Saturation Campaign everywhere in all 4 precincts!! Even though I know Julie & how honorable she is, she would most likely not accept a dime towards the signs but still, I would be most happy to donate a fee to help offset costs for those signs because Julie should not have to be paying this cost again so soon(she's already paid a huge price for standing up for us) for all this since she is representing the majority's best interests. There are just a few who are taking all the money we have and they won't stop until we are completely Bankrupt!! Oh, the Greed & Arrogance of these few people!! Unfortunately they have been bleeding us dry for so long that it will take a miracle to get this town solvent again. I feel we have one more shot at recuperating by getting Julie back in office. If that doesn't work we will probably have to kiss this town good-bye as we know it. These are just All my opinions, as always!!

  2. Here is my blog letter (Templeton Times) on "Eyes Wide Shut" for further explanation.

    Eyes Wide Shut

Politics in Templeton seem to be playing out in a similar fashion as that of State and Federal politics. “Eyes Wide Shut” is the phrase used in the big game of politics and now it seems that we are seeing a similar type of politics here in our small town.
“Eyes Wide Shut” refers to the movie by Stanley Kubrick in which those who have an inside seat are allowed to misbehave so long as they don’t report any wrong doings concerning those who share those seats of power with them. Look the other way.
A more detailed look might be that when you make a mistake and could possibly loose your job or bring embarrassment to your family or possibly be facing a heavy fine or jail time a deal is made. Someone in this situation is most likely desperate for any kind of help and is vulnerable to the first suggestion that comes their way. This desperate individual is not really in a position to bargain. A clever man knows that if he helps this perpetrator the individual who has made the mistake will be forever in his debt. When the clever man needs a favor or a shady deal is necessary he can count on this desperate individual to come through for him “Eyes Wide Shut”.
Is it possible that Mr. Mullins made a deal with the devil to spare himself and his family the embarrassment of events in Winchendon? Is it possible that the devil knew in advance that Mr. Mullins was involved with possible illegal activity at the transfer station in Winchendon and used this to his advantage to secure something the devil coveted?
Why can’t we as voters get a full disclosure of events involving our town leader and events to the North of us.
The debtor is beholden to the lender.
This is clearly not a healthy situation for Mr. Mullins or his family he has our sympathy, it is also an unhealthy situation for the Town of Templeton and her voters.
If Mr. Mullins first allegiance is to the devil that has brokered the deal then he cannot be putting his Town of Templeton first.
It is believed we have been down this road before when it comes to “Eyes Wide Shut” and dirty dealings. It is also very possible the same devil was involved.

    1. Pauly, Bart and I are about three and a half miles from Templeton Center. We will never see town water or sewer. We have electricity, the road is in fair shape. Steve Manty fixed it a long time ago.I figure it will deteriorate like the rest of our roads in town. Bart says we will all have dirt roads in the future. I say ok-atleast you can grade them! I can,t knock the police or the highway depts or fire depts., they have always been good to us on our end of town.In the future, we will do the best we can, like every one else.We do not have kids in school,so we do not get alot for our tax dollars. The town makes money on us and the other (elderly) people in town.

    2. Yeah, unfortunately there seems to be too many "Eyes wide shut" people these days!! I understand it is tough to speak up when you are worried about losing your job or feel threatened but as Julie Farrell says "Sometimes you just got to take a stand" & her other words of wisdom "The Truth is Out There" And one of these days the Whole truth will surface thanks to her efforts, Bob M., Jeff, Pauly, Pete F., Bev B. & a few others that have been getting the word out in numerous ways especially via Pauly's Wonderful Blogspot. Thanks to everyone concerned enough who blog here. It will help get those responsible to "pay" (monetarily & jail time if necessary)for the mess they have gotten us into because all they cared about was what they could get for themselves!! Let's keep the Heat on them by attending town meetings, asking good questions (whether the present board wants to hear them or not) continue blogging, talking or whatever it takes to get the answers we all need!!

  3. Pauly, I feel the reason you are Not getting a response from anyone of those agencies (news, atty general, police, etc) is that the "powers that be on high" are probably looking at Templeton for something we are not seeing in all this. I think we are being singled out & maybe tagged for a Landfill site, Wastewater treatment area for Big City crap or sludge, a landgrab of some sort such as the State forests (for clearcutting or harvesting lumber), Fernald School region for low income housing (get all the city riff-raff out here & out of the City) or something else we're not fully aware of yet?? I am not well-versed or learned enough in this area so, I just don't know but I think it is Bigger than just issues here in town? Just my inner feeling & because I have tried to get some of those agencies to take notice, too, & not a Peep from anybody!! I think it is way more than just a contaminated building on 252 Bald. Rd.(which itself is a very COSTLY problem)... Also, whoever gave permission to sell the light co. generating capabilities? Couldn't we have made a big generating plant to take care of the town's energy needs for all it cost for the taj majal bldg., the brand new Volvos, HUGE salaries & benefits, etc, etc, that were not necessary & are helping to bankrupt us!! Where did all that funding come from?? Do they Owe somebody Bigtime for this?? Is this why K&P, Casella & others wanted this town so bad & some just won't let go?? GS & CS were the worst people that ever moved into this town. Their vindictiveness & greed took over once they felt they were wronged & I believe they have been selling us out lock, stock & barrel ever since. These are just all my opinions!! Heaven forbid you have an opinion anymore because there are those few who are quick & I mean quick to sue anybody they don't like or go after this town which means it affects all of us!! I say if you don't like us, are mad or whatever it is you are unhappy about then get outta "Dodge" & leave us alone!! You've already cost us too much!!
