Templeton Arts and Crafts Fair...We need help!!



Our Mission
     Proceeds of the Templeton Arts and Crafts Festival supports thousands of dollars in scholarships every year to Templeton graduates, alumni, and residents.   The annual fair is staffed by friends and family of past, present, and future scholarship recipients.

  1. It is nothing short of amazing that the Craft Fair lasted this long. Those first few years, were pretty hard, but Gladys had grit and determination. Friday nights Gladys would take her notebook out of her Craft Fair tote, and show Stephen where the lines were going to go. Stephen and a few helpers would draw the lines. Gladys's mothers house would smell like onions and green peppers so strong it almost drove her out of the house. In the beginning, help was short. It got to the point she had grammer school kids running the food tent. My job was running the baby show. Try to pick the prettiest kid, and not make the rest of the mothers angry. A few years down the road, Bob Sobolefski started helping out, and after that things got better on the help side. Bob took the reigns after Gladys's death, thankfully, and it looks like the fair is here to stay.
