Who loves ice cream? The Templeton Police Department in cooperation with The Kitchen Garden on Baldwinville Rd. are running a new program this summer called Cones for Kids.

Cones for Kids is to promote safety among children in the community. Officers will be handing out Cones for Kids coupons this July for a free ice cream to children when they observe safe behaviors.

Officer Malnati and Officer Sarno issued multiple Cones for Kids tickets on Friday night for proper seatbelt use on South Main Street.

Officer Malnati and Officer Sarno participated in a 4th of July Bike Parade in Baldwinville today. The Officers issued each participating child a Cones for Kids ticket for wearing their helmets during the ride. Each child can redeem their ticket for a free ice cream at The Kitchen Garden on Baldwinille Road. Happy 4th of July!
