and for those that may want to read the special legislation that was passed - chapter 93 Acts of 2000
The Light and Water Commissioners always wave the chapter 93 Acts of 2000, when ever they try to tell the tax payers or selectmen how they are not accountable to anyone but them selves. I do not think any of them have actually ever read the chapter!! If they had, it would tell them in black and white they do, or at least the manager is accountable to the Selectmen. I will be very happy when these issues get resolved. We will all be better off. Bev.
