  1. I support Bob Mitchell because he does not support the nuclear option to fund the schools. The use of the nuclear option undermines the will of the voters. When voters vote NO, it should mean NO.

I support a YES vote on the non-binding question to rescind Chapter 93 Acts of 2000. A quick review of the numerous primary source documents listed on the sidebar as “ Information Regarding Non Binding Question Chapter 93 Acts of 2000” reveals a very different situation than promised.

Your water rates have increased 23% this quarter and will continue to increase each year. Your customer charge has increased from $28/quarter to $49/quarter -a total of $196 per year per customer. The amount of money generated by the increase in the customer charge is $183,540.

So what water improvements will this dramatic water increase fund? According to the letter sent by the general manager “Templeton Water is also looking to post the entire capital improvement plan on the TMLWP website, but due to its larger file size it is not yet known when it will be available for public viewing online.” We will never know. What we do now is that the water mains under Baldwinville Rd are 60 years old. What we do know is that these 60-year old water mains were not replaced during the Baldwinville Rd reconstruction.

The non-binding question to rescind Chapter 93 Acts of 2000 is not a vote to place the operation and control of the water department under the BOS.

Please Vote YES on the non-binding question

    1. Mike, Lets put it this way, the books our past accountant left were such a mess it has taken a forensic auditor to untangle them. The 500k had nothing to do with Mitchell and his short time on the BOS ?? Why even say something like that ?? It does not even make any sense. Dianne will truly find out what we have been saying all along, there is no money in this town. Echo Hill made sure of that. Bev.
