a thank you from Bev

I want to take a few minutes to thank the people who have visited Bart's Greenhouse. The support has been great. Now all we need, is to have the sun come out, and stay out! This cold rainy weather is not good for the cucumbers. They hate too much water, and the cold nights last week, did not help. We have a hummingbird in the greenhouse! Bart saw it last night, and it was there today. This little guy is having the time of his life. Outside it is raining buckets, the wind is blowing, and he is dry as a bone, going from flower to flower, in the greenhouse. All of the years I was in Leominster, we only had one hummingbird, and I think he was lost. The air had too much exhaust, from all the traffic. That is all I can figure, for the reason we did not see more. We have had a lot of customers from Leominster, come to South Road. It is good that they learn they will not fall off the edge of the earth, before they get here. I tell them about the other businesses we have in town, and the Craft Fair in September.
