Rumor has it that some people from the Templeton Light dept. went into a business in Templeton Center and gave the owner some crap for signing a citizen's petition concerning asking the Attorney General about the Templeton Investigation. One problem is the person approached did not sign it. The other concern is that if this activity took place, it may fall under being criminal. Lets hope this did not happen, but if it did, some commissioners need to go!

  1. No one should be hassled for signing any petition, by anyone. No one should feel fear for voicing their opinion. The Town of Templeton needs to have this investigation happen. This is one of the big reasons our town has been so broke, year after year. If you do not think this is no big deal, I can tell you you are wrong. The attorneys for the Town, left the town holding the bag when the Baldwinville paper mill changed hands. The owner ran with all the money, leaving the Town holding the bag with a waste water treatment needing extensive repairs, and the people in Templeton paying for it all alone. So the argument has been that too much time has gone by, and no one cares anymore. So if that is the truth, why has every attempt to have these transactions looked at by higher authorities been blocked ?? And I am telling you blocked by powers that do not want this issue looked at because this is serious stuff. The 252 deal is on paper, there was no money to pay for it, anywhere except out of the operating budge. That would have pushed the Town off the cliff for sure. This is a article people need to pass at Town Meeting, to resolve these issues for once and for all. Bev.

  2. If the help did in fact harrass this person and in any way the commissoners were involved this would be a problem for the whole department and the town would have to make changes so it could never happen again. When real laws are broken people must take action through the proper authorities. The criminal laws are written very different than the chapter 164 laws and woulld be looked at with open eyes with fines greater than 10.00. Do any viewers here have any knowledge of harrassment by anyone from the light department or any commissioners. Private notice can be given to smart@nii.net.
Your help in this matter is key to keep voter rights and petitions possible without outside influence.
