Timely Presentation! Open to ALL

Good Evening Narragansett Parents & Guardians,

This Wednesday at 6:30 in the Safka Auditorium Worcester County Sheriff Lewis Evangelidis will be presenting his Face 2 Face program to parents. Students in grade 8 through 12 saw the program last Wednesday. The Sheriff uses a multimedia approach to deliver the message of how damaging drugs and alcohol can be to student lives. This presentation is open to all parents and guardians.  [COMMUNITY MEMBERS AS WELL]

This is a great opportunity to come see the Sheriff present on a topic that frequently confronts your children.

  1. If you are a grand mother, or grand father, this is for you to. Kids need everyone aware of what is going on, and sadly that includes you. I don't want to hear," my granddaughter wouldn't do that", because no one is immune. Bev.

  2. Why do we promote the idea that Law Enforcement has any knowledge of drug and alcohol abuse? This type of issue should be presented by medical professionals not Law Enforcement Officers.
If Lew wants to do us a favor he should show his program to serving police officers since they have a seriously high rate of alcohol abuse.

Lew deals with crime, which can be the result of drinking and drugging, but has nothing to do with the use and abuse and does nothing to stop abuse.
