Legal bill from K & P

well folks, it is in, the legal bill from K&P. I asked the billing department today to fax a copy of the march legal bill for Templeton, seeing how it is May. Since there is only $14,629.95 left in the legal expense account which can be found right above the copier in the hallway at 690 Patriots road, in a pink folder to view by anyone interested. The total of the bill for march is $7,417.47, which includes $124.47 for copies of documents, express mail service, special postage, toll calls and on-line research. I guess at $165.00 per hour, you have to pay for stamps and paper too.

“Where is Walt”

We miss your comments, I hope someone didn’t scare you out of Templeton, with all the bull---- that has been going on-come on down and join the group.  And air your opinions or just keep commenting. My computer broke down this week so I’ve been kind of quiet, I also have been looking for a crown for King Columbus lol as Rob says who made you king?  The time is getting short for someone close to our wallets but I never count my chickens before they hatch, get it?  Columbus is so embarrassing to all of us, he will not attend canditates night, why don’t Virginia go in Columbus’s place?  Those 3 selectmen are shameless,

What Secrets B.O.S.
In my opinion Jeff Bennet says, it loud and clear at every B.O.S. meeting.  It is public information, it is public information what part of public information do you 3 members of the B.O.S. “not” understand.  Hey isteach we do need a clean sweep as I have been saying for years, but a clean sweep will not work, we need a complete cleansing to get rid of all the parasites once and for all, and don’t start forgiving a certain few, or all the parasites concerned will jump the fence and beg forgiveness let the ones that “played” pay, yes, pay in $dollars by ethics,

Letter to the editor Gardner news

Town Citizens are Not Obstructionists
Dear Editor:
I am writing in response to the two recent letters regarding the climate of the political landscape in Templeton.
Let me first begin by acknowledging that Templeton citizens are indeed frustrated and concerned with the current state of affairs. I will not make the claim that all citizens are at all times calm and reasonable; it is clear that there have been instances in which this frustration has prompted a few citizens to respond passionately at meetings. I think it is important, however, to refute the notion that those in attendance are simply angry obstructionists, with the sole purpose of delaying the town’s business.
The reason for much of the frustration among Templeton citizens is due largely to the way in which the Board of Selectmen proceedings have been conducted. There are bound to be disagreements, and there are bound to be times when some level of discord is to be expected. This is a given. However, if the meetings were properly managed, these instances could be mitigated, and more of the town’s business could be conducted in an open, transparent manner with the benefit of public participation.
In order to fully understand this situation, I think it’s helpful to contextualize the Board’s recent meetings. As any classroom teacher can attest, there are two important lessons that must be learned in order to effectively work with a diverse group of individuals. It is crucial to know how to both manage student behavior, and also be knowledgeable on topics of discussion. Recently, neither has been the case at the Board of Selectmen meetings. Time and again, we have seen the Chairman deviate from the rules he established, without the consent of the rest of the Board. These rules are posted on the Board’s website. Even more frustrating, however, is the Chairman’s practice of not providing straight answers, no matter how simple the question. Taken together, both the inconsistent meeting management style, and the lack of straightforward responses, it is not surprising that so many in Templeton have been attending meetings to witness the dysfunction.
The many citizens who have been attending meetings represent a range of constituencies in terms of age, occupation, level of education, and the length of residency in Templeton. All of these different groups of people share the same concern that their town government is not functioning properly. We are not there to obstruct; we are there to communicate the will of the voters, as we do not believe that the majority of the Board has an accurate sense of how most voters feel.
To my knowledge, there have been no arrests, and no violent acts. Only a handful of citizens in attendance have been asked to leave, and the way in which these citizens were singled out is troubling. The Chairman has already had to apologize to one citizen who was unfairly singled out and asked to leave.
I encourage all of you to attend a meeting and see for yourself. There is strength in numbers, and I suspect that the high number of citizens in attendance is indicative of a changing political landscape, even if the majority of the Board does not currently understand this.

Morale Is Done

In my opinion the morale is at its lowest in the life of the town of Templeton and I talked to a lot of people that work for my town of Templeton and I encourage all of them to hang on.  The ride of the devil is almost over and we will prevail.  I hope everyone pay’s attention to my short blog Sunday night about inciting a riot.  I turned my dictionary and a lot of law books upside down to find more info.  I was asked by one of my famous critics why don’t you get a lawyer.  My reply was I have two of them but I don’t like to call them on the phone for three dollars a minute, only Carol and Columbus can do that and the town pays.  I call that misuse of municipal funds, but they will say its necessary well so much for the critics, who is actually my brother.

Fluoride blog by Pete Farrell

Hi Paul
I wrote another blog concerning fluoride.  If you have a chance to add to blog would appreciate.  Thanks.
Pete.

Templeton residents are encouraged to visit the facebook site Templeton Mass Afa.  This facebook site is a dedicated source for fluoride information.  Residents will find many easy to watch video segments by Doctors and Dentists showing the harmful effects of fluoride on you the Templeton taxpayer.  One clip by Nobel Prize winner Arvid Carlsson  reminds us that some intelligent people think that fluoridation is absurd.  The Fluoride Action Network   is another excellent site to visit on the internet for information regarding fluoridation.

A Blog from Harry Aldrich

I am writing this letter after reading that our water department has financial problems. I have heard this around town in the past but paid little attention to it. I have not attended many town meeting over the last few years because it seem like when ever anything comes up about the water department it is always brought up about the condition of the department years back and what a great job the current leaders have done in getting it straightened out. Rather then sitting there and listening to it, I just stayed away.

2012 OPENING CEREMONIES AT GILMAN WAITE FIELD

It was brought to my attention buy a friend that this Saturday, April 28, at 12 noon, the 2012 season for Gilman Waite Athletic field will open with a committee informational opening ceremony, introduction of teams and players. Followed by boys and girls softball teams slugging it out in the season`s opening games. If you haven`t been up to the complex off Michael's Lane in Baldwinville in the few years you would be totally surprised at the amount of work the field committee has done over there. There are multiple ball fields, huge parking areas, concession stands, bleachers, night lighting, etc. etc. And since there is an article at town meeting to give the Pajari Fund to the Gillman Waite Field Committee to continue it`s work in making an athletic field complex like no othe that we can all be proud of. It would be a great time to see for yourselves what an excellent place to give that money to. The kids are our future and this would be a sound investment not only for the kids but our community as well. I believe Mr. Pajari would have approved. ( My opinion of course )
Take a ride up Sat. afternoon,
SEE YOU THERE.

A blog from Observer

Well it appears that the Gardner News has no problem printing untruths for some in the letter to the editor.  First I would like to say – Mr Kent when was the last time you attended a selectmen’s meeting. I haven’t seen you at any meeting since you got off the advisory board years ago.  Did you ever even meet Mr Ritter? Did you witness him being harassed by Mr Columbus? I did.  Have you talked to the senior citizens who attend the selectmen meetings? I have, they are discussed with Mr Columbus and Ms Wilder. Do you know why that meeting on April 12 got so heated – let me tell you the real story.  First let me tell you that no one threatened any of the selectmen. When it was announced that a motion was made to hire back Carol Skelton as temporary Town Coordinator – just about every one  in the audience said NO, no way, you have got to be kidding comments like that – why because everyone who had been paying attention since before the recall realized  that Mr. Columbus and Ms Wilder and Atty Len Kopelman had gotten rid of Mr Ritter just to get Carol back. So I guess you could say at that moment the people realized that the whole recall issue was just about revenge. I went out into the parking lot sat in my car and cried. In the few months that Mr Ritter was here he brought Departments together, information flowed easily for the selectmen’s office to departments. At selectmen meeting Mr Ritter was always there with his vast knowledge to help a board that the majority was harassing him during the week. Do you know the emotion stress this put on Mr Ritter? DO you know that V Wilder and Atty K both called him before he took the job and told him not to take it? Mr Ritter came here, did a job and did it 200% despite having three members of the board continually trying to sabotage his good work. So now we are back having CS, departments can’t get information, articles for town meeting are being rewritten and changed. And the latest – no public participation is allowed at the meeting – I noticed that not even elected official from other boards were allowed to speak. Sorry my Kent but you have no clue!!!! Just my opinion.  and I am anonymous because I have seen the retaliation Thanks Pauly Observer

In response to Mr Richard Curtis

In response to Mr. Richard Cutis' many questions or concerns, first let me state that I have no control over how many Templeton residents decide to show up for any public open meeting. I will not speak for Julie Farrell but I really do not have that much power nor do I want that power. Secondly, I did not realize that I gave up my rights as a citizen by being elected to the board of selectmen. I also feel that if I consider an employee or town resident has been treated unfairly,

Jeff's Blog

As a member of the train wreck that is the board of selectmen led by boob columbus, I would like to apologize to all of the residents who came to the meeting of THEIR board of selectmen who are suppose to represent them and work for them, the taxpayers, and yet you are restricted to asking questions and getting answers from us, the board of selectmen. I did not get a chance to talk with one woman, but I have forwarded a copy of the dvd of the April 12, 2012 bos meeting to the attorney generals office for review. The annual town meeting articles are according to Templeton town by-laws suppose to be turned over to the advisory board by March 20 have not been so turned over because boob columbus and the other two stooges wilder and mullins were too busy trying to fire Jeff Ritter. carol skelton has been taking annual town meeting warrant articles and changing them, moving the order, and inserting articles that the selectmen have already voted out articles behind the back of the board of selectmen, at least one member anyway. reason enough to fire her immediatley in my opinion. Bob columbus has put a town employee in jeopardy and he has violated state ethics and state law by signing off on payroll sheets submitted by tax collector Carol lee Eaton to the tune of at least $900.00. The board took a vote on March 8, 2012 to give the tax collector signatory authority to sign town paychecks because of the resignation of town treasurer and assistant town treasurer, they both could not take any more of boob columbus. The recommendation of town accountant along with the vote of selectmen that said no additional compensation for Ms. Eaton, but carol lee submitted the pay vouchers and boob signed them has caused carol lee to come under violation of state ethics and state law violation and I have reprted this to the state authorities. Sorry but it is the rules and the law. The taxpayers and residents of Templeton deserve far greater respect than what they are now getting from this select board, the majority who appear to be working for carol skelton rather than the taxpayers. Things will unfortunately get worse before it gets better, again, I apologize for the treatment of taxpayers at their select board meeting but I am but one person. Please try to be above the behavior of the majority and let me take the heat and bring it to them, you pay me to take the heat, columbus can not throw me from the meetings, but you can toss him out on May 7, 2012 and please do not forget that. You taxpayers and voters hold the true end power within your grasp, please use it wisely on election day and show this tyrant, dictator the door once and for all. I promise to keep working for you and not for any paycheck. Thank you for the kind words and support, undeserving as it may be at times, I do appreciate it.
Jeffrey Bennett, YOUR selectman.

Julie's Blog

I am running again for light and water commissioner. It is safe to say they hate my guts over there. I am not running just to be a thorn in their side, but to try to bring some accountability to the rate payers.

I will not vote for a rate increase so the department can give out pay raises. The Water department is in no position to make any infrastructure improvements BECAUSE of long term debt; specifically a 40 year USDA loan obligation is restricting the work of the department. We already have some of the highest water rates around.

As for the light department, they certainly want to remove me from office because I keep pushing for an audit of the wind turbine project. I feel this audit is necessary so we will know what are depreciation costs are and to accurately determine the payback period for the turbine.

Please write letters to the ACLU

I believe that our civil rights, out rights of free speech are being violated, not to mention the police presences/intimidation at these meetings. it really is something when you see seniors sitting in these meeting in total disbelieve afraid to speak up.  therefore I am asking everyone to write letters to the ACLU ( civil liberties union) with comments, complaints whatever. Letters can be mailed or faxed address and fax number are below. - thank you all - it is our civil right to be able to speak, and without the fear of intimidation.

Riot law & legal definition

RIOT LAW & LEGAL DEFINITION

In my opinion and I hope it will be an opinion of any lawyer, new or old. I am trying to say this in layman’s terms the best I can. So bear with me taxpayers, I spent many hours and arguments on this one.

A riot occurs when a defined number of people, usually a minimum of three, intentionally or recklessly causes or creates a grave risk of public terror or alarm. A person commits the crime of inciting a riot if he commands, solicits, incites or urges another person to engage in tumultuous and violent conduct of a kind likely to cause or create grave risk of public terror or alarm. Riots disturb the peace and safety and require police action.

The three members of the Board of Selectmen created an act of inciting a riot by voting for an appointment against the will of the taxpayers. Not even taking into consideration two other members of the Board voting profusely against the appointment for fear of the Board inciting a riot, which three of the BOS did accomplish. Also the above mentioned appointment was not on the agenda. The chair said abruptly we will vote on this issue as the audience of taxpayers that filled the meeting room warned the chair by voice not to do this illegal act. The crowd was not protesting violently and the police should have cited Columbus, Wilder and Mullins for inciting a riot. This is gross obstruction of justice on the 3 select board members and the 3 policemen that attended that meeting to keep the peace not to allow 3 people to incite a riot.

Tumultuous means (uproar) full of tumult. Please comment

250th anniversary of Templeton

Well in my opinion selectmen Columbus, Wilder and Mullins have ruined all chances of a lot of us taxpayers being involved in the 250th celebration. No offense to the uninformed taxpayers that just haven't caught on to this shameless scandal that those three people, and I use that term "people" loosely. Columbus, Wilder, Mullins, have "ruined" my town of Templeton. and the authorities say that there is nothing we the taxpayers can do about. Well we weren't expecting a miracle but we got one ,in the next few days we will get results, some of the most rich and influential people thought obstruction of justice was just of phrase for "fishing without a license" LOL

a Blog from Steve L

MY QUESTION IS, “ DO YOU THINK THE GARDNER NEWS REPORTING ON TEMPLETON IS ONE SIDED
Read and then decide for yourself.
Finally last week, Jeff Bennett had a very interesting letter to the editor informing Templeton residents about the $14,000 paid to Jeff Ritter upon resigning his position as Town Coordinator. (Just for the record, being a local business owner and employer , I have never heard of anyone getting a bonus or severance check for resigning.) After reading the article I noticed for the first time the rules set forth by the Gardner News for writing an article to the Editor at the bottom of the page. The third paragraph clearly states,
The Gardner News reserves the right to decline submissions that are libelous or factually incorrect , ARE POLITICAL ENDORSEMENTS as well as to edit letters for length, content and style. “
Now about the political endorsements part. If you look at the letter to the editor written by Boob, (Typo, I mean Bob Columbus), dated on or around Feb 3 , 2012. The last sentence of letter, Boob, (Again typo, so sorry) Bob writes, VOTE RECALL, VOTE VIRGINA WILDER AND VOTE PATRICK MULLENS.
Now am I imagining things or is that a FREE POLITICAL ENDORSEMENT OR NOT.

Saturday, April 21, 2012

We need a Team Columbus sightings page. I just saw Ginny frolicking east through the blueberry field at Echo Hill Farm with her dear friend Carol. They must be strategizing; even Virginia's not stupid enough to think that the berries are ripe this time of year!

And then there was Carol at Mattson's yesterday. Can you imagine what the conversations are like during these pow wows?

Who will spot who where?? let us know!!!!

When, what, why, where, etc. etc.

Let's start out by saying in my opinion okay? Does that cover the law? Now I was watching the news this morning and it is said that swearing (cussing) is good for your health. While I would be (one) sick son of a gun  oops, can't say gun. That word can get you in trouble so I'll change my wording, to my “God" would I be sick if it wasn't for the lousy %#@&## politicians and their helpers in Templeton. #@&*#@ see Columbus and his partner Wilder at the advisory board meeting Thursday night at the school cafeteria at 6 PM. To start with the chair Isaac Matson,

This question was sent to me anonymously -  anyone want to comment - Pauly

Was CS off today or working (Friday)? She spent over an hour today at the Matsons home....What could she be doing over there?? Any ideas?

EMPLOYMENT SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT

According to town bylaws:

Article VII – Legal Affairs

Section 1. The Selectmen shall be agents of the town to institute, prosecute and defend any and all claims, actions and proceedings to which the town is a party or in which the interests of the town are or may be involved.

Section 2. The Selectmen may at their discretion compromise or settle any claim or suit to which the town is a party, which does not require the payment by the town of an amount in excess of one thousand dollars.  No settlement of a claim or suit obligating the town in an amount in excess of one thousand dollars shall be made, except as authorized by law, without the consent of the town meeting.

On April 9, 2012 three members of the Board of Selectmen signed an Employment Settlement Agreement and Release of All Claims. This employment settlement agreement was for $14,000.

A few questions:

Who initiated this settlement agreement? Mr. Ritter or the Board of Selectmen? Did Mr. Ritter leave for personal reasons and ask for some money before he left? Why would the Board of Selectmen agree to such a thing? Mr. Ritter’s contract has no provision of compensation for leaving for personal reasons. Maybe someone can ask Mr. Ritter if he wanted to leave Templeton?

Will this settlement agreement come before town meeting as required by our bylaws? I think all residents should request the BOS follow the bylaws and place this settlement agreement on the town meeting warrant. I think it is important that ALL bylaws are followed. This settlement agreement was for $14,000 which is higher than $1,000. Could these actions by a majority of the current board of selectmen be an attempt to circumvent a public vote of this settlement?

Please attend Monday night’s BOS meeting at 6:30 in the Middle School cafeteria. Please ask for answers to these questions. The blue words lead to other documents.

Please read the agenda carefully. sneaky - sneaky!!!!!!

And no offense to Rich Curtis but here is the Ethics recommendation for Liason. From www.mass.gov/ethics

5. DESIGNATION OF MUNICIPAL LIAISONS
The law requires municipalities to designate "a senior level employee of the municipality" as a liaison to the Commission. The Commission will disseminate information to the liaisons and will conduct educational seminars for them. Liaisons will also be required to be accessible to public employees in their municipalities and to check the Commission's website regularly for updates. The Commission may call upon liaisons to provide information about their towns' compliance with these training and education requirements, and to assist in locating former public employees of their municipalities.

Municipal liaisons may contact the Commission's Legal Division for advice on behalf of fellow employees, but, before doing so, they must obtain the permission from the fellow employee to discuss his or her situation with the Legal Division.

Given the responsibilities that will be required of the liaisons, the Commission recommends (but does not require) that municipalities appoint a full-time administrative employee to the position of municipal liaison, or, if the municipality has no such full-time employee, then a part-time administrative employee, since such a person will need to be accessible to municipal employees and situated so as to be able to perform this role.

Advisory Board Meeting

Advisory Board Meeting

It was an interesting Advisory Board Meeting Thursday night. There seemed to be a bit of confusion about the role and responsibilities of the Advisory board. On the positive side, some of those attending were allowed to speak. While cleaning out my files, I discovered the 2010 Finance Committee Handbook. It is a large file, but if you click on the blue words, the file should open. The 2010 Finance Committee Handbook has a great section on the duties and responsibilities of each financial position in town government. I hope this information is helpful to some members of the Advisory Board. Could someone please print out a copy for Charlie Perkins? Charlie doesn’t have a computer.

Templeton town accountant gives resignation
Two days in the office of the selectmen and apparently that was all town accountant could take, Scott Sawyer gave a letter of resignation, effective June 30, 2012. I have not yet spoken with Scott and I will not put words in his mouth, but it seems strange that after two days of Carol skelton, he would do this. So it seems what the recall has accomplished so far is the loss of two competent selectmen, the loss of one of Templeton's best Treasurers, a very dedicate secretary/assistant treasurer, Sue Adams and now a town accountant.

DISCUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED

In my own opinion, I was amazed at the turn out of our Peaceful Protest Tues AM at 690 Patriots

Rd against the hiring of Interim Coordinator. In my opinion again, the appointment was made by 3 people and 3 people only, and all us taxpayer had no say about it, see the video it was not even on the agenda to hire an interim coordinator, see the agenda for April 12, 2012, if this not against the bylaw of Templeton, and the constitution, what is? I filed a complaint with the Templeton Police about those 3 selectmen inciting a riot. I went to the courthouse with the written complaint, lets see what happens. Chief Whitaker stopped to talk to us at the protest, he in person informed me and the other at the protest that the police could not do anything about the inciting of a riot, I asked why not?

here's the pics

Mrs. Wilder Spills the Beans in The Gardner News

I think it’s important to examine a couple quotes from today’s Gardner News. First, I’d like to thank Mark Haranas for covering yesterday’s peaceful protest. I think he did a decent job of accurately representing both sides of the situation, and I hope he continues to employ this practice when reporting on Templeton affairs in the future.

For those who have yet to watch or attend a meeting and see Mrs. Wilder in action, here is a direct quote that speaks to her sole motivation for running in the recall election:

“Carol was the logical person. She doesn’t have to be trained, she knows the job, and she has a ton of experience…In my opinion, she should never have left here to begin with.”

Ah ha! The cat’s out of the bag! Is Mrs. Wilder a warrior, fighting to right the perceived wrongs against her “dear friend” Mrs. Skelton? This quote would seem to confirm this long-held suspicion. Perhaps she should consult with someone who has experience speaking in public and to the press, someone with regional and national experience, someone who would like to become the town’s next moderator!

Here’s another quote to analyze from today’s paper:

“It’s absolutely essential to have a coordinator here to get the budget and town meeting ready.”

1.      It’s YOUR job, Mrs. Wilder, to prepare a final budget, and not the Town Coordinator’s job! If you are unable to handle the rigors of the budget, perhaps you should reconsider your commitment to serving as a Selectman. And by the way, the intelligent, honest, hard-working man who was forced to “resign” basically laid the foundation for both the budget and town meeting. At least five people were trying to tell you at a recent meeting that the decisions that need to be made regarding the budget are yours, as the department heads have already contributed to this process! You should not be relying on Mrs. Skelton to make difficult budget decisions!

2.      If it is indeed “absolutely essential,” why did you not put aside your personal agenda and allow Mr. Ritter to serve another month through town meeting? I guess the only thing that you consider “essential” is reinstating Mrs. Skelton forthwith!

Here’s a quote from Mrs. Skelton:

“Everything has to be done. It’s time consuming. I certainly have to prioritize.”

1.      Again, I believe Mr. Ritter has already dribbled the ball all the way down the court. You just have to shoot it.

2.      The job wouldn’t be so time consuming if you were qualified and efficient!

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday’s peaceful protest, and to Julie Farrell and Jeff Bennett for their commentary.

Darren

Peaceful Assembly
I was able to attend the peaceful assembly held at Town offices on Tuesday April 17, 2012. A few members of Citizens 4 Templeton were on hand to witness the transfer of power to a person who is currently suing the Town, had no physical, cori check, wages or salary defined or even hours of employment.

I needed to make a few document requests. I asked for and received the job description for the Fire Chief and the town coordinator. It was rather odd to see see this :

As I entered the BOS office. I believe this furniture barricade is a fire hazard:

To the left of the table, a bookcase was used to enforce the barricade. I believe the "Trojan Rabbit" from Monty Python could have made an effective foray against such a sturdy blockade! In the background, please observe one of the $1,000 desks.

Nice desk! Don't know why it is unoccupied! Your tax dollars at work! Override? Anyone?

Thank You

Mr. Ritter!

Jeff Ritter

Just to let you all know Jeff Ritter did check out his song. He got a chuckle out of it.

This is a repeat please read it again. – No off color comments, I promise.

Attention Taxpayers

Do you care how your tax dollars being spent? I know about 106 of you taxpayers don't care because your homes have been foreclosed on in the last couple years. This month alone February 2012 there are nine house auctions taking place here in Templeton, see your local newspaper. I know real estate taxes didn't cause anyone to lose their home. But when you pay 300 to 400 bucks a month just for real estate taxes it makes paying your bank a little harder. For your mortgage and putting food on your table harder. I don't even want to mention heating your home or other things like water bills, sewer bills, electric bills etc. How many of you taxpayers think you are being overcharged by the so-called services, yes services.

Just a note

My apoligies if my weekend blogs upset anyone - just shows my frustration of the rehiring of Carol Skelton. Where will the money come from to pay her. the advisory boards money is suppose to be for emergencies.  This is not an emergency - we should have Jeff Ritter still working here and we would still have money in that acct. What they Columbus and Wilder did to him is unacceptable. Please be at the advisory meeting on Wednesday April 18 6:00PM NMS Cafeteria - again sorry if my blog affended the readers.

Repent of Sins?

Repent of Sins?
In my opinion only a handful of people in Templeton are sinners and if you my friend can get those few to repent the sky in Templeton will light up like the Star of Bethlehem, good luck.  And as far as name calling goes the names I call some people are just a taste of whats to come.  Did you notice I get more frustrated after every blog, and if you don’t like my words, just go around them as you read my blog and as far as your comment about Bob, I did not select him to start with, he did not select him to start with, he only won by 3 or 4 votes, were the ballots counted like Jeff Bennetts?  When I go looking for a fight I know exactly where to look, and I wont play into their hands.  Nice chatting with you (Bdg@@913)  keep the advise coming it has all been said be for except the “repent” part, and you will never hear it from that recall group.  Why don’t you join us at the protess Tuesday 4-17-12 at 6:30am to 10am then 2pm thru 3:30pm.

asswipe B.C. sucks

In my opinion

And he should crawl into the hole he came out of, does the ass wipe have parents, I bet they are realy embarrassed at the Board Meeting every one knows just how bad that nutcase is, but help is on the way and someone is going to jail and it is not going to b e me, and those so called people have nothing to be proud of I personaly made complaints about C.S., a long time ago, they were ignored by her husband when he was selectman.  I have enough paperwork to put someone in prison and I am about to use it.  I have tried to be civil, but what happened tonight to a Vietnam veteran that was trying to ask some questions, is the last straw for that .  We the people are going to inflect so much legal crap on those 3 that K&P will run away from Templeton.  Those 3 think they are untouchable well I don’t believe it, and the law will prove me right.  I love those D.V.D’s and so does the law.  Why would a nice guy have to be walked to his car by the police?  Do you people think this is the beginning of the Bell Cal issue what do you think people,

Lieing Ass Columbus (in my opinion)

Friday April 13, 2012

In my opinion how can an idiot make a statement to the local news paper and on D.V.D in front of all of us tax payers saying Mr Ridder resigned because of personal reasons?  Well Mr Columbus read me PHC Sr form Pauly’s Templeton Watch loud and clear in laymans terms.  You Mr Columbus are a no good fuc-ing liar and the word is out, I told you many times about trying to keep a secret here in Templeton, you and your partner bullied Mr Ritter right out of town and I can prove it, send K&P after me for misstatement

More on them bringing back Carol S

Was it possible that a listening device was placed on the table for each executive session for Jeff Ritter with all the modern technology wouldn't a judge like to hear this (in his private chambers) ? Remember Dec 7th 1941 sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, that is what was done to us at the selectmens' meeting April 12th by Columbus - Wilder and Mullins.

3 Wrongs Don’t Make IT Right !

3 Wrongs Don’t Make IT Right !

The vote to appoint Carol Skelton interim coordinator by “team Columbus” on Thursday April 12th raises some serious issues which will have a negative impact on the town.

Why was the vacancy for the position of town coordinator not posted?  Why were there no interviews?  Does Ms. Skelton meet the minimum education requirements of the job description for Town Coordinator? Will a Cori check and physical exam be required of Ms. Skelton? What are the hours and rate of pay for the interim town coordinator? From which account will the money come from to pay Ms. Skelton? Or is a lack of funds in the town coordinator salary account the reason the Advisory has posted a meeting for Wednesday April 18th? Has Ms. Skelton dropped her MCAD complaint against the Town of Templeton?

In the settlement from the Skelton’s first lawsuit against the town, within the section “Present work capacity” it states: “100% other than same environment with Employer”. A different page within this document, states that Carol Skelton “should not return to her former work environment”. Will any employment agreement between the Town of Templeton and Carol Skelton be executed in open session as was the case with Jeffrey Ritter’s contract?

Will the town have any protection against a third lawsuit filed by the Skeltons? The Skeltons’ lawsuit in 1995 began with a compliant filed with MCAD and was transferred to Worcester Superior Court. Is it part of the plan to reappoint Carol Skelton interim town coordinator so she can find more information to further her lawsuits against the Town of Templeton or to gather more information for yet another lawsuit?

The ACLU has a number of useful guides on demonstrations and protests. Know Your Rights outlines some general practices for peaceful assembly. I plan to attend a peaceful assembly at 690 Patriots Road on Tuesday April 17th. I have a number of public record requests to file for information regarding the purchase of 3 new desks in the BOS office and a color printer. I will also request a copy of the latest budget to actual figures for town departments.

Sick-mentally sick

Sick-mentally sick - That is my opinion select chair Bob Columbus I gave my opinion of Columbus is a mental state to the state police and our chief David Whittaker and our past "railroaded" coordinator Jeff Ritter. So no one can say I just made that statement up. And Columbus, I know you read my blog, did you check out how many hits I have over 81,000 to date. I am going to force the police to have you evaluated for three days  (under MGL chapter 123 section 12.)

Watch the Dvd of 4/12/12

I was watching the dvd tonight of the last meeting - at one point when Bob Mitchell is asking a question - Darren is holding up a "thank you Mr Ritter" sign, and the camera is focused on the sign  - Priceless Darren priceless!

Town Employees – Thank You!

Town Employees – Thank You!

I would like to thank all of the town employees and department heads that signed a letter of support for Jeffrey Ritter. In the brief time Mr. Ritter was Templeton Town Coordinator, he worked many hours to try to bring good government practices to our town. He did that by enlisting the help of all departments, boards and committees.

As employees remaining in the town, you deserve better management and leadership. As employees, you are well aware of the reality of the bullying and retaliation that is part of your everyday work experience. You took a great risk in signing this letter of support. Thank you again for your hard work, your dedication, and your commitment to the Town of Templeton.

click on  the blue "Jeff Ritter" it will take you to the letter

SPECIAL NOTICE

In My Opinion
Columbus went against the agenda for April 12, 2012. The agenda said “Discuss the temporary appointment of a town coordinator” not appoint a temporary coordinator. Who gave those three  selectmen the authority to go against the will of the people at that meeting without the opinion of  lawyers, not K & P but our Citizens 4 Templeton lawyers. We will have a court order Tuesday AM and I expect the State Police to arrest Carol Skelton if she attempt to enter the Coordinator’s office. There are too many important papers in that room. She has already proved to me that she cannot be trusted. Columbus is sick to even try this illegal move.

ADVISORY BOARD MEETING APRIL 18th 6:00PM NMS CAFETERIA

All residents need to attend the advisory board meeting, wednesday, April 18, 2012. Watch little issac alongside mommy and see who he works for. Transfer money from the advisory account to salary account for town coordinator so carol can get paid. Any bets on this move. Taxpayers need to attend this meeting in numbers, maybe with the amount of skelton supporters who show up, like the entire lions club and concerned residents we can stop this meeting.

Random Thoughts

Random Thoughts

For those of you who would like to review The Skelton’s lawsuit from 1995…here we go in the way back machine:

I can’t make this stuff up. There were 26 separate filings. Carol Skelton still has an active case against the town. So where do we go from here? Hire her back as an interim appointment? Who would you trust most with sensitive legal information about outstanding lawsuits against the town? You make the call!

Just a reminder of Carol's law suit

Response to Skelton Discrimination Complaint

Former Town Coordinator, Carol Skelton has filed a discrimination complaint against:

TOWN OF TEMPLETON, and

JEFFERY BENNETT,

ROBERT MITCHELL, and

JULIE FARRELL, in their capacity as

Town Selectmen.

This discrimination complaint is MCAD Docket No.:08BPR02077

                                                   EEOC/HUD No.:16C-2012-00411

This document is the response to that complaint. Will the current BOS vote to defend the Town of Templeton in this matter?

USDA Loan and 1.9 million dollars

USDA Loan and 1.9 million dollars
Town meeting vote in 2010 basically gave the Treasurer with the oversight of the select board to borrow 1.9 million dollars. The 1.9 million was borrowed short term, as in year to year. This is where they got the $400,000.00 to buy 252 baldwinville road in November 2010. They thought they were gonna slide this right through, then along came columbus yelling and swearing at Tammy Coller and Jeff Bennett got hold of that complaint. I placed a paid ad in the newspaper, jerry lost the 2010 election. Jerry lost the 2011 election that he worked very hard to win, my opinion is if he had won, he and his wife would have slid this through and Templeton would really be in a tough way.

DAVID BERGERON AS WRITE IN CANDIDATE FOR TOWN MODERATOR

David Bergeron wants to be a write in candidate for Town Moderator - you all may remember David who acted as Town Moderator for the "Landfill" Town Meeting. He was very successful in managing a town meeting that was very heated and had a overflow capacity, both the auditorium and the gym were full.  David has served the Town of Templeton in many capacities, Town Moderator, Accountant, Assessor and as a member of the Fire Dept. Stop in at Cumbys in Baldwinville and say hi to Dave and give him your support!!!

To all the Recall Supporters

To all the Recall Supporters - In my opinion - What do you recall supporters think of your senial chairman now? What a "nice" Board of selectmen, not to include Jeff Bennett and Chris Stewart. The big guys closed the former Gardner State Mental Hospital. Where are these 3 people  going to go for treatment? Well I will volunteer my services for what in my opinions think those scabs need for treatment. Vote for Julie Farrell on May 7th - Vote Bubba out. Vote NO on the override. Vote no at the town meeting for for 252 Baldwinville Rd. - Follow Jeff Bennetts lead on his Budget Changes. Vote to give the Pajari money to the kids and Gilman Waite. and all taxpayers will receive a "cigar" Lets get this blog hot from this day on. We are not defeated. Mr and Ms Taxpayer lets get with it on the dirt issues.
PS we will be starting our peaceful protest at 690 Patriots Road on Tuesday April 17th 9:00am. Everyone who doesn't have to work please attend and bring signs. Please please please put all your comments and suggestions on the blog - and get all you friends, relatives and neighbors to read the blog so everyone knows what is happening in OUR TOWN OF TEMPLETON.

Thank you Chris Stewart - for voting with your heart and Listening to the people that elected you and reconizing a true, good, talented, knowledgeable employee in Jeff Ritter.
Also Joe Boyd, a Vietnam Veteran, who fought for our freedoms thank you for speaking up, shame on Columbus and Wilder for throwing a Veteran out of a meeting and not allowing him to speak. I encourage all veterans to join us at the peaceful protest on Tuesday.

We are hoping that Channel 25 news will be there. lets all call the newspapers and other TV stations.
"Templeton Citizens protest when a malicious Board of Selectmen with a vendetta hires back former Town Coordinator who is their close  friend and is sueing the Town for the second time!!

We will post the DVD as soon as it is available - watch for it on Cable channel 8 - viewing times are posted on www.templeton1.org if you don't have cable come to my home anytime it is on to view on my tv. you are all welcome here anytime.

Please everyone file an ethics complaint on the 3 boobs (selectmen) that just voted Carol S in. Ethics violation - Virginia Wilder giving you friend a job. Ethics violations big time please everyone write, call, email whatever ethics complaints re Bob C - Virginia - Pat  - they (ethics) can't ignore us if we bombard them with complaints. and done't worry about writing the perfect letter as long as they get the drift.

IT is official

Carol Skelton was just appointed by Team "Dick-tater"  Forthwith-- OMG we are soo screwed -

new desks for selectmens office $1000.00 each

With all this talk of Budget issues and the deficit - why did the selectmen's office just purchased 3 new desks at $1000.00 a piece - is this a bribe for Kate and Nancy so they won't say anything about  how Jeff Ritter was bullied out of Town - way to go Bubba and ginny - what are you doing with the old desks - scrapping them??  and I thought that the third secretary position was not being filled - oh thats right when Carol (or Jerry) comes back they need that 3rd secretary because they are so incompetent.!!!! now do you all get what I have been saying misuse of municipal funds!!!! these people belong in jail. Do people understand the penalty for bullying.

REMEMBER TO VOTE ON
Monday, May 7th

Columbus is not stupid, or ignorant, he is an idiot, period!!!

In my opinion, Mullins should just have the smarts in resign with honor. And Bobby boy Columbus should just resign. And Wilder, well that's another story. If the readers of my blog that could not be at the meeting, please buy the DVD or watch it on cable and witness the true colors of these elected, so called officials. Even when our new state rep, sitting in the audience witness the dumb things three of the five said (oops-Mullins only talks when he seconding Virginia's motions) and acted on like dummies they are, and I use that term loosely. I am so P---O---ed at their actions,

Is Templeton a bedroom community?

In my opinion the way the town is being run and has been run for the past 10 years, no industry no commerce, no money left to operate as a Town, why? Because we've voted people into office expecting good, honest taxpayers from town to look out for our best interests. Yeah right. But look out people July 1 will show the beginning of the worst to come. No pay for Selectman, no pay for board of assessors, tragic cuts to the hard working individuals paychecks,

Unfavorable Publicity for “Team Columbus”

Unfavorable Publicity for “Team Columbus”
After reading today’s Gardner News, I wanted to state, publicly, how proud I am of more than a dozen town officials. Not only did these individuals express their enthusiastic support for Mr. Ritter in a letter to the Board of Selectmen, they also took a very real risk in doing so, and for that, I extend to them my praise and gratitude. Jean Fountain, in particular, deserves recognition for her willingness to personally deliver the letter to the Board on Monday evening. Kudos to Jean for persevering through the “do not approach” chorus!
In the event that you did not see today’s paper, here are a few select quotes that should make any future appointees uncomfortable, to say the least:
Police Chief David Whitaker: “I feel that he [Ritter] was not given a fair chance by the current majority of the Board of Selectmen.”
Fire Chief Tom Smith: “We’re facing a huge budget deficit, and I don’t think it is a good move.”
Deputy Assessor Sue Byrne: “We just basically wanted to show our support for Mr. Ritter, who’s been a wonderful person to work with. He is a knowledgeable man with good ideas…Unfortunately, the town will loose a very good employee who was just a pleasure to work with.”
Board of Health Director Phil Leger: “I signed it because I support professional management. We need somebody in that office that is a professional, and to help guide the department and be a liason with the Board of Selectmen. He was getting that done, in my opinion.”
So, if “Team Columbus” does not value knowledge-based, professional management, what skills or talents are they looking for? In a short period of time, Mr. Ritter had proven himself intelligent, articulate, honest, and objective with regard to the decision-making process. Again, which of these characteristics do “Team Columbus” find objectionable? If he had had a lawsuit pending against the town, would that have won over the hearts and minds of “Team Columbus?”

Help from people

Okay all my fellow bloggers I need some help - I know Mr Ritter has an agreement that he must not say anything about Templeton or members of the BOS(3 stooges) if he wants to get his money and does not want to be blackballed - the man has a family and needs to be able to work.  So help me get a  lawsuit/criminal charges filed against Columbus, Wilder and mullins?  the employees at 690 Patriots Rd are all witnesses - they all saw the daily bullying of Jeff R by Columbus and wilder.  Did you know that Bob C has been seen going to the current place of employment of a former templeton employee that he "had a problem with here in Templeton". I am asking the employees (current and former) to come forward and tell us what you know of Mr Ritter being harrassed, bullied, having his charactor defamed, threathened with job loss, yelled at, and everything else that they did to him. If you choose write to us anonymously through the blog, email me,  call me - anytime, write me a letter. I have a lawyer available at my expense to help you. This is the cheapest thing that could happen to man or women! What is to prevent them from doing this to any of you - if they haven't done it all ready! It is a federal offense to bully - we need to stop this renegade Boob C. Thursday night!!!!!

Open meeting complaint

The open meeting complaint I filed concerns a meeting held on March 5, 2012 at 690 Patriots Road. This is the meeting I left because of overcrowding and the chairs unwilling to postpone the meeting. The conference room was full and many others were in the hall. The meeting was eventually canceled, but a second meeting at the same location was opened and completed with the same situation in place, to many people for the facility. To top it off, there was a police officer standing in the doorway seemingly blocking entrance into the room; ie: keeping people from entering the meeting place.

Bringing back a Skelton...........

Selectmens Meeting - Thursday, April 12, 6:00PM NMS Cafeteria.  Please be there - Which Skelton will they put in as Town Coordinator - rumor has it it could be Jerry or Carol. So who do we pick the one with the current lawsuit (they both have previously sued the town) or Jerry - the biggest bullier of town employees! Well this shows it, the LTPS group and the majority of the Board of Selectmen do not care about the People of Templeton - they only care about the Skelton agenda  payback - payback and drive the town into bankruptcy! Please try to attend the meeting.

Mr(and I use that term loosely) Columbus has done it again

Well folks he chased Doreen (see article below) out of town, chased Tammy (see copy of complaint at https://docs.google.com/document/d/16-8BO_CK5W8larEQo2RKht7Um4Eeu-EJYmZjoiEdvkU/edit?pli=1# ) and Sue away, he continually harrasses Bud constantly, has harrassed Deb, now he (they) have fired Jeff Ritter after harrassing and bullying him daily. Virginia
