Watch the Dvd of 4/12/12

I was watching the dvd tonight of the last meeting - at one point when Bob Mitchell is asking a question - Darren is holding up a "thank you Mr Ritter" sign, and the camera is focused on the sign  - Priceless Darren priceless!

    1. Olive, The time scedual for the meetings on the Town web site do not agree with your posting of the times. Any idea why? And Pauly is it posible to have the video on this web site cause all the residents in East Templeton do not get Templeton`s chanel 8, they get Gardner`s. I was just informed about this this weekend and I was shocked to hear this. I wonder if this can be rectified. They should be able to watch like the rest of us

    3. Steve - I just saw the schedule on TV on Ch8 and the times that Olive posted match what was there. The schedule on the Templeton1.org would be correct IF the BOS meetings were held ONLY on the regular 2 week interval. But because of the flurry of BOS meetings, the schedule on TV on Ch8 gives accurate information.

I, too, was unaware that East Templeton does not get Ch8. Does this include the Senior Center? It would be great if they had it and could hold a "Viewing Party". Having been at this meeting, it is imperative that the townspeople see what happened that night and not hear about it second hand.

    4. I believe anyone that has a 632 telephone number (Comcast & Verizon) is not able to get Templeton's cable channel. I'm not sure if that includes all of E. Templeton, but, does include the area around the senior center.

    5. I am not sure who in East Templeton does not get the Templeton cable channel. I am in East Templeton and have a 632 number and I do indeed get the Templeton cable channel.

  2. Thank You Jeffrey Ritter for your professionalism and your patience hopefully with a board change we may be able to talk you back to town. On another topic, is it not fraud by the building committee to obtain a short term loan to support a USDA loan that has as a condition that a full 21E must be performed for issue? Who would have been responsible for this possible felon? Could it be the home team? It sure looks like someone is covering their tracks on 252 Baldwinville Rd. Don't worry perhaps Lenny will take care of everything. We sure are lucky to have K&P on the job. The Dark Side?

  5. A couple of comments/questions of the meeting video:

The BOS never voted on the letter sent to USDA loan-whether to rescind it or leave it or put someone else's name as contact person. There was no vote. That is why people were speaking out at the end of that discussion item. They were TRYING to tell the Chair that they missed their vote on the subject. But he got flustered and plowed through to the next agenda item without listening to anyone.

Does anyone have a copy of that letter from the USDA? I would like to know exactly what info they asked for. Did they ask if the town was going forward with the project? Did they ask for a contact person? None or both questions or something else? Why can't that information be given during the discussions at BOS meetings? Mr. Columbus should have read the letter from the USDA and then read the letter from the BOS in response. Mr. Columbus did read the response letter, but stopped reading it word for word at the end and paraphrased the rest. Why wouldn't Mr. Skelton be the contact person if he is the head of the Municipal Building Committee as well as the person who signed the USDA loan application? Someone answer this for me.

Why was this discussion not on the agenda Mon. night? Why can't you tell us "for whatever reason" if "it was intended to be put on the agenda" what happened so that it didn't?

Also, at 36min40sec (36:40) you can see Mr. Columbus look at Ms. Wilder for what to do and she clearly says "Stop it", meaning stop the discussion. I really don't need to comment on that. It speaks for itself. Although I will add maybe that is why he refused to listen to anyone that was trying to tell him he missed the vote...because Ms. Wilder told him to stop discussion and move on.

    2. Why did the BOS talk to Fire Chiefs in 2 other towns but not to the current Fire Chief of Templeton to discuss his recommendation for his replacement? Is this intentional or an oversight?

    1. In my opinion, the reason that our questions are NEVER answered properly, if at all, is that those you mentioned think they are above the rules & the law & can do Whatever they want without checking with us. (see meeting dvds & behavior). Mr. Skelton is (what I was lead to understand) the self-appointed head of the Municipal bldg. committee that I believe he set up to look at makiing HIMSELF & WIFEY this LUXURIOUS office complex equipped with lavish furnishings as a tribute to themselves. If they named it the MBC then who could argue that it was not for the good of the town? Ha! Of course, he already got his Lavish Light Co. offices, brand new volvo suvs, etc. as a tribute to himself prior so this is something more (THEY JUST HAD TO HAVE) I can just hear it, Honey, I want a NEW DESK for when I come back. So he says to BC & Gang, why don't you get 3 of those $1000.00 each ones we were looking at to start. You see, they have done so much for us we should all be so grateful(puke, excuse me) I wonder if they ever looked at the GRAND paychecks we gave them over MANY years or just handed them right to their financial advisors, maybe linked to the infamous law firm? Just wondered? But anyway, seems their mindset has them believing that this is what ELSE they now deserve in ADDITION to the well-padded salaries, benefits, retirement packages, lawsuit settlements, etc. they have already gotten from us. And why not, haven't they been so wonderful to us? I honestly don't believe that those making the decisions at this time have any concern for the town whatsoever!! They feel the time clock bearing down on them life wise & it is at this point they decide to make one last "clean sweep", if ya know what I mean. She should not be allowed in any offices that hold any confidential info that could affect the town's Not so well-being anymore!! They have all done ENOUGH DAMAGE! NO MORE!! Oh, and possibly the answer to your last question might be Mr. Stevens. I really don't know? But it is a good place to start asking. I don't think BC, VW, PM or any of their gang (we are not sure who else is involved, are we) should be allowed in those offices either without an impartial 3rd party taxpayer who has been Footing the bill for all this over the top expenditures they have heaped on us!! And I am adamant in that opinion!!

  6. Now that we have established that anyone can post a comment here and "colorful language" is allowed, I think it may be time for everyone to take a deep breath and relax, keep our guard up but in a less tense manner. We are not going to get everything we want right now and temper tantrums will not change anything. Desimination of factual information and good solid questions in hope of answers of equal value is what is needed. Lots of letters to the secretary of the commonwealth, attorney generals office, ethics commission and election commission. We need letters to various state representatives, even if they are outside our district. Another place to send letters is to US senator Scott Brown, Mr. Brown, you want our vote, what can you do to help us? We need questions, concerns and valid complaints, we need alot of them and we need organized public participation in hopes of attracting news coverage from news papers (minus the gardner news) radio stations and television. just a thought or two to think about

    1. People have tried all the other valid points you have mentioned, Jeff. Why do you think it seems like there are "temper tantrums". It's the venting that is helping people deal with this whole debacle since the letters & complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Can you hear the growing frustraion each day with Pauly, me & others because NO ONE has done what should be done. Good honest hardworking people who see less & less of their hard earned money (if lucky enough to still have a job) are ticked to the hilt to see their tax money SQUANDERED in such frivolous ways, over & over again & these Same people who have been ripping us off for years are still getting away with it. I think you'll find there are a lot more "factual" dirty dealings that have yet to be exposed. As for colorful language, I think people have done very well at keeping the tone rather civil for what we have been through & are feeling. I do appreciate what you have done to try to help us in town. You have really spoken up for the good of everyone. I also understand what you are saying but as a "victim" of that regime, I have "PTSD" from threats & actions of those few, so please forgive the stories for what they are. Thank You & all my opinions in colorful language & otherwise. Oh yes & when you find someone who will actually pay attention & listen to our complaints let me know & will get a letter off to them but have not seen them yet. Maybe this new representative? I can tell ya Gobi & her colleagues paid no attention to my complaints so sorry for the frustration. I hear ya Pauly & I thank you sir for letting us vent in the best way we can!!
