new desks for selectmens office $1000.00 each
With all this talk of Budget issues and the deficit - why did the selectmen's office just purchased 3 new desks at $1000.00 a piece - is this a bribe for Kate and Nancy so they won't say anything about how Jeff Ritter was bullied out of Town - way to go Bubba and ginny - what are you doing with the old desks - scrapping them?? and I thought that the third secretary position was not being filled - oh thats right when Carol (or Jerry) comes back they need that 3rd secretary because they are so incompetent.!!!! now do you all get what I have been saying misuse of municipal funds!!!! these people belong in jail. Do people understand the penalty for bullying.

This is unbelievable! How about spending $100 on microphones for every member of the Board of Selectmen? Then we could hear what these people are mumbling about us under their breath! Imagine Virginia's voice booming "do not approach!'
ReplyDelete$3000.00 left over in any departments budget on June 30 would be turned back into the town - then it becomes free cash - free cash, what we depleted this year! $3000.00 could pay for a highway worker or a cemetary for a few weeks, pay for an admin asst for more than a few weeks, pay for 769 gallons of gas, or some parts for our broken down trucks, pay for assessors maps - that are always being cut, the BOH just worked their tails off to save us money on our town rubbish removal. We are asking for an override when we are spend money stupidly - hey Dennis looks like the Selectmen's office are the stupid ones - Foreclosures- homeless children in our school system - seniors on very fixed incomes. I say return those desks Forthwith!!!!! get the money back!!!
ReplyDeleteI encourage any and all Templeton residents to visit the selectmen office on Friday, Aprile 13, 2012 and see what you just paid for. It will be the very large l shaped desk to your immediate right as you enter the office. I have copies of e-mails stateing I did not think this prudent under the budget and certainly not until we see what the state welfare check will be. I have not seen nor know of any vote by the board of selectmen on this matter. Perhaps the chair can expain this one.
ReplyDeleteWHAT?????? Who authorized that? and why? Is there no top to this s--- pile? Are they spending the account now because next year there will be no money in it? If that's so, let's see if they will allow other departments to do the same....yeah right! Do they just walk around making decisions in a vaccuum....thinking it is for the good of the town? IDTS. I could live with this economy in a town that is doing the best they can to help the tax payers, but, I'm afraid this town will not pull out of this mess during my lifetime. My blood is boiling! No way in h--- am I voting for an over-ride, or anything else that will cost me money that I don't have. I certainly hope the rest of the citizens in Templeton & Villages can see this too, and will vote "NO" AGAIN with a wider margin than last time to give the message. NO MORE B.S. NO MORE BC, JS & CS. I can't wait to blacken the "chits" on the ballot in May. I don't even have to think about it. IN and OUT. I'll do it again in August for the RECALL for VW and PM. I still hope Chris will turn around. If not, out! Pauly, I hope your investigations will bring out the wrong doers and put them where they belong. (Big Breath here) WHEW.
ReplyDeleteYes absolutely, they belong in jail!! How can anyone in good conscience pay $1000.00 for a lousy desk when a perfectly good used $50.00 desk can be bought. I know you can find them because I have had to for myself for my office & there "ain't" no fancy thing you have to have in those pricey desks that can't be had in a good used one. Also, as Pauly states there are many homeless or near homeless kids going to school here that could use that money to help them. When I grew up in Templeton we didn't have to pay an activity fee to play sports. Maybe our uniforms weren't the best but we had them & weren't excluded because our parents couldn't pay that fee because we came from the backwoods "PO" families like this Supt. of schools & others seem to think of us. How can you continue to pad your huge salaries when kids are being deprived of even the simplest of pleasures at school because you think you deserve more money added to that already out of sight salary!! Everyone knows they took away the music & arts to help fund the Big Fat Paychecks. And don't tell me what you are doing is for the good of the school or students. That is all Bull-S-T. I am telling you I see Bell, California corruption all over this. These people are Scumballs!! The Chief will play whatever side of the fence he thinks he needs to to keep his job. There is no honor there whatsoever. I believe this is what is happening in all forms of law enforcement, politics, judicial system. That is why corruption is rampant & we are not getting the help, any answers or the investigation that is needed that Pauly has asked for.. Those in positions of "power" put themselves above the law!! They know every trick on the books to use to get you & keep themselves right where they want to be. Yes Pauly, this is how places like Syria, Iran, No. Korea, etc. & all "Dick-tater" regimes start. And when there are no checks & balances to that absolute power (absolute power corrupts absolutely) often times wind up with disasters & travesties like the Holocaust. And if people don't believe it just let all these bozos keep the reins until it is too late. We are on a runaway freight train that has lost it brakes & if it continues, well everyone knows the ending to that story!! Thanks Pauly, Julie, Bob M., Bev, Jeff B., & all the other bloggers & people who are trying their very best to stand up to this tyranny. We are growing in numbers daily & I have faith that we will prevail. Pauly, as you said, we will take care of our kids in spite of this. This may sound trite to some but thank you for being this town's father during this crisis. Thank you for taking care of us who have been afraid. Even when it doesn't feel like it there are many with you!! Let's show him tonight by being there to support him in what he has done thus far under trememndous stress with the odds against him!! Thank you & keep safe! There are some pretty nasty characters we are dealing with that have Not shown their sleezy faces yet & because they are the scum of the earth we probably will never see them. I believe there are many players behind the scenes who are pulling the strings on these puppets we have in office on the current BOS, as well as, the chief, light co. K&P, etc. etc. I don't know for sure or have the answers but this is what I am seeing. We'll see at the end of this who gets thrown under the bus. Does BC or his cronies really think they care about them. He is just one of many being used as a pawn in a very ruthless corrupt game!! And at the end of the day they will ultimately hang them out to dry. Let's hope we get the Kingpins, too!! All just my opinions!

As you watch out for your pay checks, watch this; it seems the fire cheif from gardner and philipston feel they know what is best for Templeton. They have written letters of recommendation for Larry Bankowski to be interim fire chief. Templeton chief Tom Smith has written a letter recommending Templeton fire captain David Dickie. I would think the person in command would have the best feel for who is best overall to take the reins of the department while a replacement is in the works. Of course I will probably once again find myself in the minority on this subject. Maybe Templeton should fire us all and start over?
ReplyDeleteJeff i said the same thing yesterday to a friend .. we need to nuke the town and start over every body needs to go and start over ..there is to much inbreeding in this town it seems that everybody is related that is not good !!in my opinion..
ReplyDeleteI believe the only reason the chief smith has recommended Mr Dickie is he is a EMT and knows all about the ambulance billing and running of it and is a certified fire fighter 1 and 2 and that is just for starters ..also the phillipston fire chief is a puppet for Gerry s also..
and to buying the desks ..this is not a slap in the face for us tax payers it is a direct punch in the face !!!

all I can say is recall coming for wilder and mullins and lets get rid of columbus. we should all show up at the turtle and just stare at skelton. Please attend selectmen meetings and question the hell out of carol, what will she do to residents, sue them?? If residents bug her, pester her, laugh and make fun of her, what will she do, it will not be harassment in the work place from employees, it will be from her bosses, the people. she sued last time because she claimed the other secretaries and selectmen made fun of her, we need residents to do it. Hey carol, how is the yard sale, hey carol what is the law on this, hey carol did you call len yet? hey carol, did you fix the budget yet? Hey carol, are you and jerry back to contractual rights? You guys did sue Templeton over loss of contractual rights, ya know marital stuff, as in when you marry you get to have ya way with her, so jerry claimed in a law suit that since carol got stressed out at work, she could not ah perform as jerry thought she should so he sued Templeton, no joke, read the lawsuit. Hey if ya can't get any, file a law suit against the town. You people wanted to play nice and this is what you get, carol skelton back, enjoy. Until you play bad ass like they do and go all out nasty, they will move forward and you loose. Their daughter got knocked up by a senior at monty tech while stacy worked there, older and an employee. grandson nate got into drug trouble and Len Kopelman got him out of it and I believe he billed the town for it. carol sued the town once and has another pending and you all let her come back? the Templeton water department has no money because of 40 year usda loans by way of jerry skelton, 252 is next. Time for residents to step up and say enough is enough. no money for anything. Time to put little issac in his place too. some one has to be a write in candidate so that little inbreed is sent packing. Ask bill harris about virginia wilder being a relative and how she did that family dirty, she took em to the cleaners, it is all out there, you better get in the ditch withem or you will lose. ReplyDeleteWOW, Bravo to you for getting it all out there as it really is with these ridiculous costly Skelton lawsuits. They actually did do this to us & if people think you are joking I say please go read that lawsuit. That is exactly what distress they were suing for. Can you believe these people?? My God they are worse than inbreds. I can't even believe they real. They are our worst nightmare. They think they are the only ones who have ever had problems & we all owe them everything!! I am so sick of them acting like they are these nice people & can't understand why we are so upset when they have done so much for this town. I'll say they have & it Ain't good. I am not one to swear or use any off color language but people can only be pushed so far. I am flabbergasted by these 2 & their little buddies. They have pushed me to a place I thought I would never find myself saying such things as, why don't they just go try to F themselves right now & if it doesn't work then I am sure we will get F'd over with another lawsuit. This is how mad I am & feel they have punched us over & over again & again!! Write those ethics complaints ASAP everyone. They are screwing with us big time. They have no problem with that kind of screwing. Lord help me, I am not usually like this but, they are just another form of the Jesse James gang. They have robbed us blind while screwing us over in a fashion that wasn't even enjoyable!! So, do we all file a lawsuit against them for that distress. I don't know about you but they have made it so I don't feel like I can perform Anything anymore let alone that one function. One of the biggest problems is I don't have any more cash because of them & their slick Attys. We are broke & even with taxes quadrupling in 20 years we can't make it!! Where do they think this cash flow is going to keep rolling in from now that we are almost broke, people have lost their jobs, are losing homes (so no taxes there), too loans to pay back, etc. We are screwed!! It's time for payback!! Let's sue them now!!!

DeleteWe need to let the taxpayer know about JS,s deal with 252 BALD.RD. WE NEED TO GIVE THEM THE FACTS ABOUT THE DEBT WE HAVE. There are still too many people without a computer. I will get the ink and the paper. Its up to you guys to help get the word out. This is the only hope we have. You know the newspaper is not going to be of any help. Good old Virginia...I told her, she never had so much attention in her whole life...Ha Ha, it is so sad you have to laugh.. You know, I was just thinking, I sure wouldn,t want to go where I was not wanted. Would you?
ReplyDeleteI understand the file/storage room at 690 patriots road has lots of desks and file cabinets (quite alot) not being used. There is also a desk out in the hall. Now that we have the coordinator back maybe the BOS can surplus the furniture to her so she can sell it at her barn/antique business...or perhaps the stuff will fall out of a truck and someone could help pick it up and still make some money....

DeleteRemember August 7, 2012, the day recall papers will be taken out for millins and wilder. We shall see how loud she talks then. And be sure to check out the brand new color laser printer sitting in the selectmen office, them people are spending all money left in the budget on who knows whos authority.
