Town Coordinator Contract

Town Coordinator Contract

Please review again the contract for Town Coordinator that was negotiated in good faith.
Section 5. begins at the bottom of page 4 and continues to page 5 outlines the possible reasons for dismissing the town coordinator.
(Please click on the blue links)
Six months severance pay will increase the budget deficit another $32,000. To sever the employment of the one person who has the skills to manage this town properly. These actions by the current BOS will pay Jeffrey Ritter to stay at home while increasing the budget deficit.

Please attend the BOS meeting tonight at 6:00 pm. Enough is enough!

  1. It seems team columbus is set to get rid of Jeff Ritter tonight, Monday, April 9, 2012 and bring back Carol Skelton. This columbus reason to re elect him to the select board. This is according to Dennis O'Brien anyways. My question is how would Mr. O'Brien know this? I thought that would be done in executive session, maybe I am mistaken.

  3. Does anyone know if Jeff ritter received notice of the reasons for dismissal 48 hours prior to the meeting (excluding Sat and Sun)? That would be the end of last week. Also, I wouldn't put it past CS to go after back pay for her time since dismissal. Another budget increase.

  4. CS going after back pay might be an issue. I believe she has been collecting unemployment since October 2011. Wonder how many jobs she's applied for?

    1. You are suppose to keep records of what you have done to find a job if you are collecting unemployment. Hope for her sake that those records don't get "lost" in the closet between the living room and dining room
