well it's official - winter is on it's way. Hoo boy hope you all have your woodstoves/pellet stoves doing. My good buddy Moose Miller has been coming by and splitting the wood that my grandson Willie cut up for me. Thanks Bruce! The cost of oil, diesel and gasoline seems to go up daily! Sooo this brings me to think about that upcoming special town meeting on November 15th Thursday at 7PM at the NRMS auditorium. Money money money Debt debt debt - this is the story of Templeton We are in debt BIG TIME. and this is why it is sooo important to attend this special town meeting. now maybe you say you are tooo busy or something. well let me put it to you in layman's language..
This town needs help - we need an investigation. we are in debt big time and we need this all investigated. Article 8 - woo boy There is sooo much that has happened in our Town of Templeton and we don't know the whole story, why because this information was kept from us.- sneaky sneaky sneaky. We need this all investigated soo it can all be explained to us. Do any of you know we got in debt to the tune of $700,000.00 on 252 Baldwinville Rd. How about the American Tissue/Sewer dept deal anyone know why the court ordered writs of attachment totaling over 8 million dollars were not renewed at the registry of deeds. How about the Casella deal, anyone know what happened with that. .Now some other reasons to attend the Special Town meeting -Article 7 Come on folks let's support a local family who bought a local business and are trying to do more. Vote yes on article 7 for Jody (Harris)and Tom Parker. Let's support some local people and their business venture!
Article 4 To pay FY2012 unpaid bills - woo boy now the only one of these bills I have a problem with is the K & P bill for over $4,000.00 (Hey Julie what is the exact amount) and why did the K&P bill go over budget - do you all remember all those executive sessions back when Julie and Mitchell were recalled and Bob C - Virginia and Mullins were spending all their time and OUR MONEY on trying to fire Mr. Ritter. Then they - Bob C - Virginia and Mullins violated Templeton BylawsArticle VII section 2 by not going to town meeting to have the voters - us - vote on the Jeff Ritter settlement. All the calls to K& P by these people - Bob C - Virginia - Pat Mullins and of course Carol Skelton cost us taxpayer money! if they K& P what the money let them bill - Bubba ginny scrappy and the skeltons. end of story
This is your town sooo attend the Special Town Meeting and Vote.
Tuesday Nov 6 is Election Day - no matter who you vote for -VOTE - it is your right so DO IT!!! hee-hee-hee.

I remember the night our good friend Bubba, went to the advisory board looking for the money to pay Our past town coordinator. BUBBA, Virginia and Scrappy, had paid Mr. Ritta to go away, but the just happened to leave the account empty. Bubba walked into the AVB meeting, looking for $9000.00. Mr. Spring had joined the board that evening.{one of the best things ever} With Mr. Springs help, Bubbba was told that the account they wanted to transfer money from, was for emergancies. The fact they could not do math,{left the account empty} was not a emergancy. He came to that board once more trying to get money for his cause, he left empty handed, again. We spent so much money for nothing,"NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT", IT SHOULD BE A CRIME!! What was really scary, was the fact the people on that Advisory Board, had no clue what they were doing. It was not their fault, no one gave them any training, so when Bubba and company wanted money, they handed it over. This is one of the many reasons we are in so much debt. Bev.
ReplyDeleteWell, the Gardner Snews has done it again and printed wrong information on the front page of todays paper. They printed the polling place for Templeton resdents to vote is at the Narragansett Middle School Gymnasium, when it is actually at the Noarragansett High school Gymnasium.

This is the poorest excuse for a news paper, in Worcester County. We, at C4T, have been talking about doing a news letter. It is to the point that the people spending good money, are getting nothing in return. We still have too many people in town with out the internet. So as a result they have no clue of what is really going in in town. The tax bills are going up, things are going to be harder than they have ever been. Don't allow yourself to be left in the dark, you do have a choice. Attend the Special Town Meeting, Nov. 15, 2012, 7:00 P.M. Make your voice and your vote count. Bev.

I currently own TheTempletonNews.com, which I originally purchased to do exactly that, publish stories and information about Templeton. I just have not had time and I would love to see it put to use.....
DeleteAfter the election, and the meeting on the 15th. get ahold of me or Julie. There is such a need for this. In my life, I have never seen such missuse of a resourse that is needed in our community. I have tried to embarress, shame, anything at all, to get these guys to be fair, tell the truth, tell both sides. Guess what?? It doesn't work!!! You all need to know, I do not cherish the idea of going to a special town meeting to get this investigation done. We are doing it because we have no choice. Our town is broke!!No blueberry money, that is gone. There is no other way to get what me need. We need to know if things were done with no regard for the other people in this town. Things that will cost us so much money, we will not recover, for years and years, and years. Maybe some of that money took the senic tour? This investigation, will not cost the town any money. No money, good thing, we don't have any!! It will be done by people that do not have any ties to the town, and hopefully will give us the answers we need. To do nothing will not change the result, but we will have a good idea of what is going on, and a chance to maybe make things better. It is here, the wrong doings, that Pauly told about. They were not his imagination, he is not a crazy old man. Our leaders made a big mistake, they pissed off a man who knew he was right. And that man would not back down. He deserves to have us, have his back! He has taken his share of abuse, so has Julie. I am in aw of the strength this lady has. She and Gladys were cut from the same cloth. I am so proud that she and the other C4T are my friends. This is a serious time for our town, but we will get through it, and maybe that voice in my head will stop. "Beverly, don't you let them get away with this!" I know thats what Gladys would say. Bev.
