Happy Veterans Day
To all Veterans and all service members everywhere - Thank you Thank You Thank you!
Thank you to Jeff and all the other service men and women who have done such a great job defending our freedom and keeping us safe. This country wouldn't be what it is without you.
One of the freedoms that they fight for us to have is when we see corruption, we have the right and freedom to speak out and demand answers. Remember that we have this freedom when voting for Article 8.
Thank you to all the Veterans everywhere and especially members of our Town of Templeton who are currently serving in the military. It shames me to think that we have been sacrificing our sons and daughters to the International Bankers for so long and have not realized our folly. Eternal Vigilance?
Shame on both Anonymous 8:14 and 7:34 for making political statements on a day where we should only be thanking our veterans. Why do you think no one takes our town seriously?
Yeah, yeah, go ahead and spout about freedom of speech, but Veterans Day should be about veterans and their service only. You have 364 more days to bash people and push your conspiracy theories. Let them have this one day - and Memorial Day too, if you please.
Speaking as a veteran, I find no shame in either voicing thier opinion on Veterans Day or any other. I certainly do not wish to return to the days when you were all but forced to go to church on Sunday and everything else had to be closed so your options were very limited. Do I think people taking one day a week off and spending it together was a bad thing, no. But I hate to see people forced to do or act one way or another, especially on Veterans Day. You really can't be a proponent of free speech then turn and tell them oh, no free speech on this day, this day or that day. That is how you begin to lose free speech. We do not have to agree with them but we must not impose our will on them either. I prefer to have people voluntary take a moment or a day to remember. Just like in school, I would prefer that children are not brainwashed or indoctrinated into this is how it must be. I prefer to inform them of traditions and the reasons behind those traditions and take them to see what it is all about. For the record, quite a few veterans spend time discussing our own conspiracy theories so please feel free to march on and exercise your rights. That is my opinion as a veteran.
