DON'T FORGET TO VOTE - TUESDAY NOVEMBER 6th POLLS ARE OPEN 7AM to 8PM
VOTING IS AT THE NARRAGANSETT REG HIGH SCHOOL GYM (also called the New Gym)
I was at the school tonight. I am not happy about them moving us way the heck down there. I think it is going to be harder for the elderly. I am willing to bet that most people don't know how to find that gym. Oh well, it doesn't matter anyway, thats where we will be. It is as clear as the nose on your face, that the school does not want us there at all. Until we get E.T. on line, there is no place else, I can think of. Bev.
Your the one who complained the last election about the trafic and the location. You called the local police a couple of times to get them to direct traffic. No offence but I thought it was moved to the new location because of your remarks !!!!
Hi Steve The move to the high school gym wasn't about the safety or the traffic voting at the middle school. The polling location was moved to protect the middle school gym floor. When you go to vote, ask the poll workers how they like the new location.
I hope our next president does not expand the war into Iran. Sure looks like Mossad and Israel got us into this mideast war in the first place along with the neocons. Lets pray for peace and spend some time learning who got us into this mess in the mideast to start with. Could it be World Zionism?

You can't blame it on the signmaker. When the letters are 400pt type, I'd think you'd notice it was spelled wrong. How about him saying people told him he should leave it up. Who would tell him to do that? What kind of town has this become? Embarrassing and shameful and sad.
This is a great topic of debate that should not be covered up. Although we may not agree with the sign I for one think Mike has a right to put it on his property. What we need is more information from Mike on why he feels the way he does. Being politically correct does not bring problems to light and we as a Nation have many problems.
Sure, people can say what they want, but be prepared to receive opposing reaction when what you are saying is hate speak. I thought George Bush was the worst president ever, but I would never put a sign on my lawn attacking his race. Just like I don't blame all muslims for 911. It seems that when people can't articulate what they think is bad about a candidate, they resort to personal attacks. We see it all the time. Look at the Brown/Warren race. Do you think it is appropriate for Brown supporters to do tomahawk chops at Warren supporters? How about Columbus/Skelton supporters saying awful things about Julie instead of stating specific actions that they didn't like that she did? How about we all try to be a little more respectful of one another. We do not have to agree on political issues. But we also do not need to resort to racist remarks to get our point across.
After spending the last three years looking at events surrounding 9/11 it is my opinion that the Muslims and specifically Osama Bin laden were not behind events of 9/11. 1700 Architects and Engineers now believe that the three towers 1,2and 7 came down with controlled demolition. The movie Explosive Evidence by this group has been shown on Public Television. An excellent book on the topic is Stranger Than Fiction an independent investigation of the true culprits behind 9-11 by Albert D. Pastore. Another excellent book on the subject is Uncle Sam's Christian Patriots by Glen Stanish. Unfortunately we appear to have been lied to by the media and elements within our government. The newspaper The American Free Press has covered the subject well right from the initial event. Christopher Bollyn's work (from The American Free Press) on the subject has been courageous.
I am probably one of the slowest people in Templeton, but I do not believe for a second that sign was a mistake, no one pays for a sign, especially a sign like that without first reading it over to make sure it is correct. The man does have a right to post what he wants on HIS land as long as he realizes there may be a price to pay for putting it up. I wish he had the moral conviction to admit he did it. Of course Mr. Manca did support Bob Columbus so perhaps that says it all. I read in the article where Mr. Micheal Gary said he was shocked by that sign. Unfortunately, signs like that one and the thought and feeling behind it exist all over this country. We as a country have really failed to deal with it. Somewhere there is a history lesson in that. I can't wait to see the video on you tube and if it has a negative effect on his business, I hope Mr. Manca looks in the mirror and says to himeself, "what a dumbass thing to do posting that sign in my yard" Of course maybe he can have Bob Columbus help him explain it away. I just hope the good people of Templeton do not dwell on that too long, there are way more important things to be talking about right now. My opinion as always......from Afghanistan

Well that sign and Mikes behavior when I tried to introduced him to Denise Andrews, this fall, at the crafts fair, says alot about him as a person. He acted very rude, that is [putting it mildly.} I am not sure if I was more embaressed for him, than her. It is sad in this day and age that people can not be more open minded. If you can't be civil, go find a place out in the woods, so your anger does not affect others. How do you explain that kind of hate and narrow mindness, to your grand children? When you have respect it is earned, and can be lost. I have a lot less respect for this man now, all the raffel tickets that he pushes won't help with that. Bev.
I'm sure that the military would not promote that type of disrespect, not only for the man, but for the office he holds as president. The military people I know are not disrespectful people. He embarrassed the town of Templeton.

Someone took a photo of one several months ago and posted it on facebook where it went viral and all the comments said it was wrong. No one defended it. So, I'm curious who the people are that stopped by his house and told him he should have kept the sign up. The only mistake is that maybe he didn't know how to read. I'll tell you what, if I'm going to put up a sign that large in my yard, I'd make 100% sure I knew everything was spelled correctly. So, who's the signmaker? Does he care to share that part with the public? I'd love to hear what the signmaker thinks of his claim of such a large mistake. I doubt it was a mistake. It was just stupid. Plain and simple.
