  1. In true Templeton tradition monday's selectmen meeting under new business should include the creation of a ad-hoc committee to oversee the town's interest in the recently voted on Citizen's Petition calling for Special Legislation for an investigation into wrongdoings in the Town of Templeton. If information is correct from intelligence sources deep under the hay at the red barn a motion will be made for this adhoc committee by our present Chairman Stewart seconded by scrappy and VW. This adhoc group will consist of Chairman Stewart and four at large residents. Due to time constraints and qualifications these four residents have already been chosen and sworn in. At this time Chairman Stewart will introduce the four members who will accompany himself on the adhoc committee and thank Gerry and Carol Skelton along with Bob Columbus and Paul Q. for their continuing commitment to the Town of Templeton. Although somewhat irregular in scope this process has been legally reviewed by Leonard Kopelman himself and given the stamp of approval by the State Ethics Commission.

    1. First off, it is not on the agenda. So, this should not be discussed at tomorrow's meeting as it is not an emergency. If this is true and people were already sworn in, then this agenda item should have been included on the agenda. Secondly, how can selectmen appoint anyone if it is not done in open session with opportunity for discussion by the public? I don't give 2 sh*%s what LK says about anything. He is not the town's attorney there fore should not involve himself in any of the town's business. If any of the Skelton clan would like to pay for his services as their personal attorney, then that's their choice. Otherwise, this is absurd and I see many open meeting violations coming if this topic is true.

    3. Anonymous 1:40, You are blessed with a rare sence of humor. Our Article will be guarded like it is a precious stone. It will be guarded aginst interfearence, by any and all evil doers, protected by highest levels of government, sworn to defend and protect the truth. In reality I have spoken to our town counsil, and have asked him to keep Att. K's fingers out of the pie. This is our petition, and we will do our best to make sure NO ONE MESSES WITH IT. So Virginia and Chris had better butt out. BEV.

  7. a140- Its funny that the old doers didn't speak up at town meeting! Why? We all know why! Why didn't they listed as gs,cs,bc.pQ above get the fame they need to get and speak up! The fact is the investigation is on and like Bev says will be watched over very carefully, Add in the election issues and the fan will be in high when _ _it hits the blades! My opinion of course! Do not interfere with the will of the people!
