ENOUGH IS ENOUGH…

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH…

Before the election on April 30, 2013, it would be wise to review the  documentation that backs up the investigation (S 623). Please visit the "Important Documents" page on the Citizens4Templeton website:

March 5, 2012 – Pauly asking BOS for investigation

There are links to pages and pages of documents under the subtitle:

"Information for Article 8 STM November 15, 2012".

Do you RECALL the amount of money wasted on 252 Baldwinville Rd?  An e-mail served as an invoice for the purchase of the building on the advice of town counsel? You might want to read that documentation on:

Do you RECALL the settlement agreement with Casella? The one signed off on by the BOS? The BOS returned $369,681.40 to Casella without town meeting approval. You might want to re-reread the documentation :

Do you RECALL the events that led up to the hostile takeover of the Water Department by the MUNICIPAL Light Department? Take some time to review the documents on:

Do you RECALL the legal situation and protracted lawsuit at the Wastewater Treatment Plant? You're in for a treat and a lot of reading! Start with these documents:

Do you RECALL the past and present legal actions against the Town of Templeton by the Skeltons? Check out the link to:

Do you RECALL the "settlement agreement" for Jeffrey Ritter? The one that didn't go to town meeting for approval? The settlement agreement that consumed the energy and attention of the prior BOS, so much so that they neglected the budget? You might want to re-read the documents:

It took three years for the BOS to accept the DOR review.(DOR Financial Management Review October 2009).

Important Videos to watch:

Sept. 26, 2011 – Town coordinator placed on administrative leave

Dec. 19, 2011 – Contract signing Jeffrey Ritter

Feb. 16, 2012 – rehiring Kopelman & Paige

March 5, 2012 – Pauly asking for investigation

March 15, 2012 – Dennis O’Brien calls taxpayers stupid…3 minutes in.

April 12, 2012 Part 1 – reappoint Carol Skelton as Town Coordinator (Review Skelton Lawsuits that are still active)

April 23, 2012 – Thank you , Mr. Ritter

The BOS and the Town of Templeton are finally making progress in the direction of good government.

We are fortunate to have three good candidates for BOS who have not run for the position before. I personally support Doug Morrison and Pauly. A vote for Doug Morrison, Pauly Cosentino or Kenn Robinson, is a vote for good government.

Vote for Facts. Vote for Law. Vote for Transparency.

Please join me and cast your vote for honest and open government on April 30th.

ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

My opinions…supported by FACTS ! ! !

  1. I really don't think all this Gerry bashing is productive. Mistakes were made that is a given similar to what happened with the windturbine and a whole list of other things in town. We need to look to the future and forget about the past. By focusing on the phrase "don't worry be happy" I get through everyday just fine. Mr. Gerald P Skelton could crap his pants on a regular basis and he still has my vote. Gerry got me a raise when no one else did. Most people at this blog are self centered and only think of themselves. Go Gerry!! Enough already.

    1. Gerry gave you a raise to buy your loyalty and it worked, from what you say. This is how he operates. It was not his money he gave you, if you work for the town, it was ours. He did not give you a raise because you did a good job, he did it so you would owe him, and you feel you do. What you call mistakes, for the most part, were not mistakes. Things were done deliberately so the people could have no say in the matter. We will pay for his "mistakes" every day, for years, and years. He might be the best guy in the world, but his ego rules, above everything else. What the towns people are left to deal with are the results of bad management. Go tell the people that work in the town office building, "don't worry, be happy", and you just might get a punch in the nose. These are the results of bad management. These people are working 35 hrs instead of 40, and there is no money to give those hours back. I do hope I gave you something to think about. The only thing that is positive is we are climbing out of the hole we have been in, and the last thing this town needs is that man back in office. This is my opinion, Bev.

    2. Anon 9:45am- Oh, your comment made me laugh out loud. You try to call others out for being self centered and only thinking about themselves yet in your same comment, you say you'll vote for Gerry no matter what because he gave you a raise!? Wow! People that support him are so easily led...and so "wicked smart". Next time you feel compelled to share, try telling us why you think Gerry is the best candidate. What good things (besides what he did for you on a personal issue) has he done for the town? What leadership qualities does he possess that you respect?

    3. I think we all know that anon 9:45 is Carol Skelton because she is the only one that Jerry gave a raise to when he was selectmen.

    1. the selectmen are not putting an override on the this year only a school override will be on, that doesn't help the town departments. so get with the program.

  4. I am all in favor of the overrides and larger government. If people would stop complaining and give more to the Federal, State and local governments more people could be employed. I only wish the town had the ability to print their own money like our Federal Government then we could have everything we wanted.

    1. How about the congressmen and senators and other federal and state government workers give themselves a pay cut and free up some money for the deficit? You won't see them do that, will you? I can't give anymore than I already am. I will be homeless and hungry. The point is the town operated over the budget for many years and borrowed money for things that were not vital. Now the town is broke. What's going to hurt even more is the poorly managed municipal retirement system. If you're interested in the real reasons the town is in financial crisis, I suggest you attend an Advisory meeting to better understand the issues. I wish all the school parents would do the same if they truly want to better their school system. The majority of the voters are not informed of the fiscal health of the town and how it got that way. The town would have more money to work with if certain past BOS members didn't make bad decisions with our money.

  5. To Anon 2:08 Unfortunately printing money does not create wealth otherwise we could all print our own money and live happily ever after. When the government allows more money to be put into circulation by raising the debt limit the money that is already out there loses value. Adding more money to the money supply causes inflation. I could be wrong so someone please correct me if that is the case. When to much money is added to the supply it can cause hyperinflation and then the money is not worth the paper it is printed on.

    1. The federal government prints the money and then gives it to the FED (the FED is the private banking industry). the FED then loans out the money to us and the federal government. The banking industry then collects the money value plus the interest. In Iceland the government took over the money supply and jailed a few bankers. They seem to be doing quite well! The private bankers aren't doing so well!
