  1. It is high time we have a commissioner that will work for us, the rate payer. We may have to start with one commissioner at a time, but at least it is a start. In the business world, if a department is in the red, the people responsible would look st the workings of that dept., to see where changes could be made. Not with the good old boys, just charge the customer more!! Now I think there is something very wrong, with that picture. You have the ability to make those changes, so do it! My opinion, Bev.

  2. I'm happy for the Sunrise Ave folks that they don't have to worry about this facility happening in their back yard for a while. However, next time they go looking for help or support from the town, they may not want to antagonize fellow citizens by participating in rude behavior like they did at Candidates Night. Not only was the accusation of Dave Smart unacceptable, talking through other candidates speeches was unacceptable as well. I do hope they continue to follow town politics even though their special interest topic is over for the time being. Knowing the facts on local politics as well as the people they choose to support in elections is vital. The more people pay attention, the better.

    1. I want to thank Kirk and the rest of the Planning Board members for the good job they did working with the people from McLean and the town's people, at the same time. It is not always easy. I feel you were fair to both, and no one can complain. In a town where "doing right thing", does not always happen, you showed there is hope. Again, good job, Bev.
