  1. Someone should ask why the school is going to pay $40. a ton for wood chips ? The companies that provide wood chips to Fitchburg are being paid $27.00. I know of a local company that would provide them for $35. with no problem. Did this go out to bid ? If not, why not ?? Are the powers that are in charge, going to depend on one company, alone ? Risky business I think, considering a number of things that could gone wrong. Something to think about, just saying. Bev.

  2. What happened to $24 to $28 per ton that we were all told that would be the cost. Somewhere there is a blog about this

  3. What if the only provider goes under in the middle of the season and were stuck getting chips. Owe i know the propane has proven the heat can be provided by the 2 propane units. After this season with the propane cost at who knows how much can we find out what the 2 month season could cost when added to chip boiler heat cost?
