BOSTON POST CANE TO BE PRESENTED

BOSTON POST CANE TO BE PRESENTED

BOSTON POST CANE TO BE PRESENTED - A tradition since 1909 is continuing thanks to the Narragansett Society and the Board of Selectman. Representatives will visit the Baldwinville Nursing Home on Friday, March 27 at 2:30 p.m. to present the Boston Post Cane to the oldest Citizen of Templeton Josephine Ruckey on the same day she celebrates her 100th Birthday. You can join in the fun! The Templeton Council of Aging is hoping to collect 100 birthday cards which Donna Morrison, director of the COA, will deliver at the same time Josephine receives the Boston Post Cane. If you'd like to be part of this birthday surprise, please send your birthday card and/or greeting to our soon-to-be centenarian at the following address: Josephine Ruckey, c/o Templeton COA, PO Box 244, Eat Templeton, MA 01438 or you can drop off the card at the COA office at Scout Hall, 133 Patriots Rd. East Templeton. Questions? Call 978-894-2780.
