selectmen's meeting

Next Selectmens Meeting MONDAY June 4th 6:30PM at the Kiva
click here for agenda http://www.templeton1.org/docs/6.4.12_BOS_Amended_Agenda.pdf

Please attend we might hear some good news about someone?????

same old tune

I was watching the news on Fox 25 this morning at 8 AM. Elizabeth Warren was being asked a question about her heritage. “Boom” in comes Duval Patrick answering Ms. Warren's question. Hoo-Boy hang on Fox news, the reporter said to the governor-what are you doing answering Ms. Warren's question? The governor said "because I'm here". Does this sound familiar?

Going to Boston?

In my opinion, I wonder why our state reps and Senators never heard of Templeton. What do you people think? Other words, all the complaints made to the attorney general's office, Ethics, Secretary of State's office, directly to our state reps Anne Gobi, and Denise Andrews, Sen. Stephen Brewer and now we have another "want to be" state rep Jim White, asking for votes. Read Jim White's hand out at Narragansett during last month's town meeting, of four nights, pretty good huh?

Just want to clarify

Just a note the person who wrote the letter to the editor in today's Gardner News is Lori Mattson of Laurelview Rd and on the Narragansett  Regional School Committee not to be confused with Kathy Matson - Issac's mother/Library employee and recall supporter who lives by Lee's Hot Dog Stand and had the recall signs on her roof. Two different people.

a VW spotting!

Virginia Wilder was spotted at 6:30pm at Echo Hill Farm. She probably had to catch up with her dear friends after the long holiday weekend. Now what should I be doing at the next Board meeting???

Also want to remind everyone that the Ballot Vote for the School Override is scheduled for June 28 - more info to come.

Anonymous or afraid?

In my opinion, when someone goes anonymous, they actually afraid to "speak out", in fear, afraid of retaliation. Am I right- Isteach? How about you Doug? And if "big brother" is watching he should be careful because these days even the eyes and ears “spy” have eyes and ears. Get it? The Dimacci and Madoff and a bunch of others, that are in jail. So Doug and Isteach remember one thing-big Brother usually has a big brother watching him, get it? Speaking about big brother,

I mentioned in a blog post that I believe our constitutional rights are under assault. I thought I would provide some links for people who would like more information on intellectual freedom and freedom of speech.

As a librarian and a member of the American Library Association (ALA), when I have a question regarding a freedom of speech issue I turn to the Intellectual Freedom page for information.

I also refer to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). Enter the letters ”EFF” into Google and you will get to their website.

There have been quite a few references to obstruction of justice and reports that this evidence is on paper and investigations coming, so you the reader may look at this one with a grain of salt and doubt. Before you do that, you may wish to take a trip to the treasurer's office and ask for a copy of the weekly payroll warrant and a copy of the check payable to Jeff Ritter in the amount of $14,000.00. You then want to go to theselectmen office and ask for a copy of the legal bill from K&P for the month of April in the amount of $4,289.00 and pay attention to pages 3 & 4 as you will see reference to settlement agreement.

Hard hats, hardhats

In my opinion, hardhats are protection to your head. I am satisfied with that rule. I've been trying to find some type of hardhats for our wallets, get it, for our wallets!!! I'm sick of trying to protect my wallet, by sleeping with my pants on. How about you people? Hee-hee. I have three hardhats that I use. My white hard hat is to show that I am the boss, get it, the "boss". My second hardhat is yellow, get it yellow. I am passing them out to the recall group Inc. my last hardhat is blue, I gave out hundreds to the people that signed the recall, get it blue. I have 10 red hardhats coming for the investigators of obstruction of justice issues. Sooooo-beware of the red hardhats,

a blog from Doug Morrison

This is my personal opinion and I am not speaking on behalf of the Senior Center Oversight Committee.

I just read the emails between Mr. Driscoll and Mr. Ledger regarding the senior center soil testing.

Mr. Driscoll did attend the SCOC meeting and we listened to the information he had to present.  I suppose the response could have been interrupted as hostile, but when people are condescendingly blasted with unfounded ANONYMOUS ALLEGATIONS who in their right mind would expect a calm and friendly response.  It is unfortunate that Mr. Driscoll finds it an unbelievable waste of his time to meet with the citizens that pay his salary and finds their input irrelevant.

More on Obstruction of justice

To the people that plan to attend day four the town meeting take the time to think or read the news about the fate of a doctor in Pakistan that got 33 years in prison for helping the US find and kill Osama bin Laden. I'm going to follow this one-of 100s of stories about obstruction of justice and keep commenting on this blog. That is "why" Mr. Curtis that I will not-move on until the "broken" thing is fixed, get it? 9/11 will never be forgotten so don't push the issue of "moving on" thanks for your attention "Mema". And as I am on the subject of trying to move on Selectman Chris Stewart voted on a touchy issue-very-very touchy issue. Chris did the right thing.

Hey anonymous-which one?

In my opinion, of anonymous on 5/ 22/2012 11:20 AM. It has already been set in stone that we are doing a recall on Wilder and Mullins. We have the proof on paper so we don't have to go to the nursing homes or the hospitals to get signatures. We will hand out a pamphlet explaining why we want a recall on Wilder and Mullins. And it won't be hearsay, it will be on paper-get it-on paper. For a voter or taxpayer to read over and over again, before signing the recall sheets that we already have printed up and will be checked and recorded with the town clerk. All the signatures will be legible and addresses will be clear. And no, yes I said-no, six signatures and addresses by the same hand writing will be allowed. Please don't ask me why? I paid for copies of all the recall sheets,

Last night of town meeting - wow hoo!!!

What was with Ms Wilder making a substitute motion on the Citizen's petition for the  Pajari money/Gilman Waite article.  and Mr Scrapman 2nding it.  We all didn't think fast enough - we should have asked VW to explain her substitute motion and asked Mr Mullins why he felt it necessary to 2nd it.  I hope all the pro recall people were watching. If I were  them - I'd be writing letters of apology to Julie and Bob M. - Pretty sad when selectmen (VW & PM) are more "intent" on screwing with Julie and the Citizen's petitions than  supporting an article for the kids. They should be ashamed of themselves.  So everybody, listen up an pay attention (as  Pauly would say)- we have two selectmen elected in January 2012 that have proven that they do not work for the taxpayers or the residents of our town - they only care about their own agendas. (K &P -Getting rid of mr Ritter - bringing back CS, to screw with the articles - Going after Julie - ) Oh yeah - and guess where VW made a beeline to after the meeting ------------ Echo Hill!!!!!!!

I hope every parent out there hears about this!!! So the next time you all see Virginia Wilder or Pat Mullins please tell them you are ashamed of them and ask them to resign - tell them we don't need them on the board.  Forthwith! they are not working for us and they tried to take from the children!!

Hope Mr Pajari comes back and haunts them!

Day four of siege

In my opinion at 10:15 last night, on the third night of town meeting, when moderator David Bergeron asked for an adjournment "politely" at 10:15 at night, get it 10:15 PM. Why do a handful of nighthawks say-keep going? It took us voters and bulls---ters three hours to go through 13 articles from number 31 through 44. How long would it have taken to finish the remaining articles? Three hours? Into 1 AM-2 am, or not even finishing that night? I like David Bergeron's reply to those nighthawks

Mr. Mullins

This was sent to me anonymously for the blog.

Dear Pauly,
It appears that Mr. Mullins went into the Selectmen's office yesterday (may 21st) and hand delivered to Nancy,  someone's resume who was applying for the Accountant position. Does anyone else find this totally inappropriate - a selectman hand delivering a applicants resume/job application. I believe that this would make Mr Mullins in conflict when the inteviews/voting for this position are done.
Mr. Mullins seems to have a real problem with ethics.

from Steve & Rosella

Yo Pauly,
Please put this on your blog.

THANK YOU THANK YOU

We would like to send our sincere thank you to you Pauly and to Jeff Bennett for keeping us informed on what is going on in our town of Templeton, ( not the town of Skelton ). We know you all put in a lot of time and effort for the town you and the rest of us so deeply love. And for that we THANK YOU.

We also would like to recognize and thank Julie for her unending devotion and tired-less crusade to bring this town back. We know it is just the beginning and it will take a lot more hard work to right the wrongs of the past. We have the best people in town on our side working together to accomplish this goal.

And last but not least. Will Spring, THANK YOU, VERY VERY MUCH, for stepping up to the plate. With a team like this should be able to move this town forward in the future. YOUR THE MAN !!!!

And to all the other players keep up the good work. We have a lot more innings to complete.

We apreaciate all that you do ....
Steve and Rosella

Continuation of the Town Meeting

Don't forget everyone - Monday May 21st 7:00pm at NMS Auditorium. continuation of Town meeting - Article 31 is first - the town budget

Templeton under siege 2012

Is this the proper description for what is going on in Templeton still? Even after the election of Julie Farrell, with a 450 vote over the expected count. Our town is still under siege. And I'm serious about this issue. Chris Stewart will not ever come to a neutral position. I believe his way of thinking is the product of "if it isn't broken don't fix it". He should be a product of “if it is bent and distorted” find out why! To correct it, not ignore the problem, and yes don't be humble. Ask us "stupid" taxpayers/voters on paper,

To Taxpayer of Templeton From Jeff Bennett

To the taxpayers of Templeton, I have come into possession of an e-mail out of the office of selectmen. Kate Myers sent e-mail to Kay Doyle asking is the ATM articles had been reviewed yet, they were sent on April 12, 2012 to Kay Doyle, and yes I have that e-mail to prove it. Kay Doyle's reply was "Carol told me yesterday that she had made changes -- has that version been sent to me yet?" This e-mail is dated April 18, 2012 and carol skelton who was "appointed as interim/part-time coordinator and started on April 16, 2012 is making changes to ATM warrant articles, on who's authority? Bob Columbus. Kate Myers replied "I was not aware of any changes. I am assuming she will be the one doing these now and sending it to you." i have e-mail originating from gerald skelton (cjskelton@verizen.net - annual TM warrant - suggested for FY 13 for May 15 final cs.doc;_avg certification_.txt. Now for those of you who were present at the April 23, 2012 selectmen meeting,

Phase 2 of Zippity Doo Dah!

I just had to make four French toast, three glasses of bottled water, 2 heartburn pills a jug of ginger brandy just to quiet my nerves from last night special meeting, hoo boy! What a blast, now I have to remind some people to read the Gardner news today Saturday, May 19, 2012. To start with look at the info on town meetings, read very carefully, dates, times, etc. this is not the first time for the Gardner news, did someone put too much pot ink in the roller, LOL. Also, note the letter to the editor from Mrs. Gould, of Gardner.

from Pete F

I think I got it this time Paul. Title: Choosing to agree with Richard Marion on Fluoridation.

Templeton Residents should get to know Richard Marion author of a recent Letter to editor in The Gardner News titled “Choose not to be handed a mandate on fluoridation of water”. Mr. Marion is a top-notch athlete and performs at a level most can only dream of when it comes to long distance running. Mr. Marion is not the type of person who tells others in the community how they should or shouldn’t live their lives. Basically speaking Mr. Marion represents the silent majority, a good American.

Thank you Mr. Spring by Darren Elwell

Thank You Mr. Spring!
I was in attendance at last night’s combined Board of Selectmen and Advisory Board meeting, and I want to publicly thank Mr. Will Spring for all that he has done as a member of the Advisory Board to help balance the town’s budget. A little over a month ago, Will volunteered to serve on the Advisory Board, and since then, he has met with many departments and town officials in an effort to better understand the town’s finances. Last night, his recommendations prompted the Board’s vote to cut over $100,000 from the budget. He has put in many hours researching other towns’ financial practices, and it was clear last night that he has also had to contend with a certain nuisance scribe along the way. This is the same person who hastily exited last night’s meeting.
Will showed more leadership and responsibility in one night than the majority of the Board has shown for months. Rather than running Mr. Ritter out of town and rehiring K+P, perhaps the majority of the Board should have been working to meet the March 20th budget deadline. It makes me very nervous that one of our five elected Board members basically had nothing to say throughout the course of the 4 hour meeting regarding the development of the town’s budget, the most important, fundamental responsibility of the Board. You can’t rely on Will to make all of these difficult decisions for you in the future!
One of the most important lessons from this situation is that no matter how discouraging our present situation may be in Templeton, one person can truly make a difference, and he doesn’t even need a microphone to be heard!
Thank you Mr. Spring!
Darren, Citizens 4 Templeton

Zippity doo – dah -what a wonderful day!

I don't have to use my opinion on this following statement, yesterday Friday I was paid a very nice visit, by a very important man in Massachusetts. the meeting lasted about three hours and I'm very-very happy about what I can expect from the big guys about all my complaints. I don't know if this guy had bodyguards but as we,PHC Sr and one other important official in Templeton were discussing issues  our town cruiser passed through my yard, turned around and drove out.

Intent-intend-intended? Whoo boy!

In my opinion Dave Bergeron was given the word “intent” by Kay Doyle, town attorney. Soooo it wasn't intentaul by the Phantom to change, alter, tamper, try to sneak through, change wording and amounts of some town meeting articles after being voted on. Well what do you taxpayers think of the word intent? Do you think that word intent was meant to cover up wrong doings or just a way for a lawyer to say don't argue, don't complain, make believe this didn't happen. What do you think, Mrs. Smith and Bumsy Dennis? Did the Phantom "intend" to con us taxpayers

Special select board meeting

Hoo-boy, I am glad someone is paying attention on that big well lighted stage. To organize a special meeting with the advisory board/finance committee. I'll bet Virginia Wilder and Mullins want to get paid extra to attend. If so, tell them to stay home. And note to "movin-on” about Dave Bergeron. Dave Bergeron was the best choice, not the better choice for moderator, if you knew Dave personally you would understand his language. Dave was not rude or nasty, in my opinion the definition of nasty is telling a dirty joke and using real names. Now that is nasty, hee-hee-hee. So pay attention to what David is saying and you will understand his language.

Second day of town meeting, wow

Second day of town meeting, wow
In my opinion the town meeting should be put on DVD. That would give us taxpayers a chance to review some answers from the town lawyer and three of the five selectmen, as they have their own little town meeting up on stage. I know you taxpayers didn't notice that action, right? You can't blame Jeff Bennett, that's for sure, and you can't blame Julie that's for sure, and in my own opinion you can't blame Chris Stuart. So what is the problem? Did the taxpayers catch more tampering with town meeting articles? And this is just the tip of the "iceberg" on this issue.

1st night of town meeting

Tues May 15, 2012

1st night of town meeting

In my opinion, the 1st night went pretty good, Dave Bergeron did a good job for a man coming back out of retirement to help us out here in Templeton, he didn’t get much bull%*#@ because he explained to the people how he was going to run the town meeting, and anyone that wanted to speak came down front to the mic and no exceptions were made, pretty good huh?  All taxpayers should be thankful that others went out of their way to find a good moderator here in town.

Selectmen’s Meeting 05-14-12

In my opinion

The board of select mans meeting was done exactly like it is supposed to be done let the people speak, and like Chris Steward told Pete Kasper “quote” I don’t honestly know how these things happened, I didn’t vote on them “unquote”.  At least Chris said it in an honest attitude; well my question is who did?  I am speaking in layman terms and I think everyone can understand layman terms, or other words was it Carol?  Was it Columbus?  Was it Virginia?

Monday, May 14, 2012

Hey Pete!!

In my opinion Chris started getting huffy with you tonight, when you asked a question of “ who did it”. To quote Chris – “I am not going to lie to you people” “I don’t know who changed the wording and other things on the warrant. I know I did not vote on those articles” and Bennett also said that he didn’t vote on those changes. So who can it be? Carol and Virginia team up with Columbus to tamper with and change town meeting articles? I am personally voting No on every article that is not in my best interest. The hell with what they want to be passed, Wilder, Columbus, Carol S, and as far as Mullins is concerned – I think he is thinking more about HIS future not ours. I would like to see the town meeting stopped tomorrow because of the wrong doings by a certain three elected officials, you know who – vote yes to stop the town meeting for 2 weeks, so we can get this mess straightened out.

Thanks for reading.

HOSTILE TAKEOVER?

There has been some discussion regarding the operation and costs of Templeton Municipal Light & Water. Some background information might be useful to this discussion. How did Templeton Municipal Light Department become Templeton Municipal Light & Water Department? Who were the key players involved in making Chapter 93 Acts of 2000 a reality?

It is interesting reading.

Trust, yeah right!

In my opinion, move on is a way of saying it's okay to rip the town off of the thousands of dollars and for years of conspiring, collusion in our office building, nepotism, lying as “whilhelm wales” says cheating on payroll vouchers and yes I have the proof on paper. Cheating on phone use, on mileage yes I have proof on paper. Tampering with town meeting articles, changing town meeting articles. And some of you people say "we must move on" is that what you call "trust".

Flouride blog from Peter Farrell

Templeton Residents are encouraged to get the fact sheet from the Board of Health website concerning fluoridation.  The Templeton Board of Health (BOH) has decided to continue to promote fluoridating the town’s water supply. http://www.templeton1.org/board_of_health.shtml

This fact sheet should be read in its entirety so that Templeton residents can become aware of the arguments both pro and con forced fluoridation.

In my opinion the pro-fluoride document from the Board of Health has questions that are only partially answered by our Board of Health’s fact sheet.

MassWorks Grant

The application process for Mass Works  grants has opened. I received this message from Senator Brewer’s Office:
Dear Town Official,
Senator Brewer is pleased to announce that the 2012 MassWorks Infrastructure Program application materials are now online! The second annual MassWorks Infrastructure Program grant round will be open to new applications through an online system between Monday, Aug. 27 and Monday, Sept. 10.
A copy of the 2012 application, guidelines, scoring, FAQ and other relevant materials are now available on the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development’s website at http://mass.gov/hed/massworks. The electronic application system will open on June 1, providing applicants with more than 12 weeks to complete their application before the submittal period opens on Aug. 27.  All of the data submitted during the 2011 grant round will be available for updating, providing for the easy reapplication of a project submitted in 2011. All decisions will be rendered by the end of October.

Could someone please forward this information to the Otter River Sportsmen Club? They were looking to tie into town water, but it is very expensive. Representatives from the club approached the Light & Water Commissioners to see if the club could be connected to the town’s water supply. I know the manager of the Light and Water department is an avid reader of this blog. He has been known to print out copies of blog postings- in color no less! I hope this information is helpful to the town and the Otter River Sportsmen Club.

sent from a friend

Pauley,
Let all you readers know the way they left the budget for the town Amblance it a possible that the town will lose the Amblance for lack of funds and will have to have a Amblance company come to town.town is on the hook for having a Amblance for the town.I think CS forgot to call the attorneys to check on that MGL.

thank yous

I would like to thank Bill Putnam who let us put signs in his field - stop in and see his family at Bill's Used Cars and maybe one the next time you need a new car!  Thanks to whoever make all those signs for Julie and Dave that popped up around town - we would like to know who you are.

From Jeff Bennett

Just so there is no mistake, this blog entry is by Jeffrey Bennett. I read the article in The Gardner News on Saturday, May 5, 2012 where Mr. Columbus stated "I want to hopefully send a message for a second time that people support the current board." I think a message was sent to you Mr. Columbus by the voters that they do not support you. Again, in my opinion, you sent a message that you were not about change and you are not about moving forward. By bringing out the same folks, spouting the same insulting material at the same people, you showed your true colors. Brehios, Skeltons, Matsons, O'Brien (big mistake having a man who called taxpayers stupid holding any of your signs, in my opinion)

Birthday greetings

Happy Birthday Franny Cosentino!!!!!!!

LetterMs. Farrell,
Regarding the letter to the editor from Mr. Elwell, we decided not to run with it based on some of the content and the timing as the election approached. Specifically, the comments against the current board chairman would not be appropriate. We try our best to avoid letters regarding an election close to the date.
As always, we welcome any feedback.

judgement Day 2012

in my opinion this day Monday, May 7, 2012 is truly a Judgment Day. I don't believe the Lions Club will go because of their ties with Columbus, if that be the case I feel sorry for the lion's club members that have to live with not honoring the creed. And a note to Tina from McGann family because you don't believe in taking advice from your lawyer either, what Julie and Bennett and Mitchell made judgment to, in other words-fire Carol Skelton was approved by the town lawyers and Carol's lawyer -see e-mail. I guess you-Tina, did not get the other side of the story

more waste of our tax dollars

It appears that the Building Dept just bought a Keurig coffee maker at $128 +-    paid for out of their office expense budget - the warrant was signed by certain selectmen (do they even look at what they sign) Is this why the building dept had to go to the Advisory board and ask for extra money out of the reserve account.

To reach out, May 1 1:38 AM

Well said to KM 526 whoever that might be. You said it almost as good as I would have, except I would have used a few choice words with my layman's terms, language. It sounds like Bernie Madoff all over again. Everybody is a liar except him "Bernie” that's why he only got 150 years in jail. I guess the judge felt sorry for him. LOL.  When those LTPS INC people going to smarten up? As I said before, when they start believing their own lies, it's too late for chicken Little, what do you think?

A response to Heaney

hey Bernard, did you just wake up? I am quoting your ad for Columbus. "We finally have a board that can work together" yeah right! Three members of the board working against all of us voters. Don't you watch the DVD of these meetings? If you do, why do you say a board working together? And no we do not want to keep it going. That three member board Columbus, Wilder, Mullins are the biggest disgrace a town could ever endure.

God Bless America!

God Bless America!
In a recent letter to the editor, John Driscoll General Manager Templeton Municipal Light &Water Plant (TMLWP), wrote a very thoughtful explanation of the water and electric rates in Templeton. I agree with most of his points. I am glad Mr. Driscoll exercised his right to free speech to write this editorial without the knowledge or approval of this Light & Water Commissioner.

2 nites of advisory meetings

I just wanted to let people know what had been happening at the last two nights of advisory meetings and a note that there is another one tonight which has been change to the High school Library.
First let me say the advisory board is doing the best they can with the limited information they are getting from the selectmens office and all the different drafts of the warrant articles with changes that the boards that submitted them didn't make  - although member Kate Fulton kept saying that "this is how the selectmen voted" I have attended every meeting and I don't recall any votes on changing the wording. No one seems to know who made the changes. No one from the selectmens was at the meeting last nite. And if you all remember the selectmen's meeting that the TM warrant was opened and voted on again - Mr Columbus didn't allow anyone to speak (except selectmen)

more on 252 Baldwinville Rd

252 Baldwinville Rd.- Why I do NOT trust Kopelman & Paige

A few documents of interest regarding 252 Baldwinville road are:

Please click on the “blue words” they will open up the documents.

The Municipal Lien Certificate indicates the assessed value of 252 Baldwinville Rd at $366,500. This assessed value is from the year 2007, because commercial /industrial property is not assessed as often as residential property.

Please review the E-mail as an Invoice document. Once again, please note the three signatures on this document that released $399,925 as payment for 252 Baldwinville Road. This release of payment was made on the basis of an e-mail. This is highly irregular and certainly not good accounting practice.

A few concerns:

This is not a proper invoice!

Who negotiated a higher price for the building than its assessed value?

WITHOUT an appraisal?

WITHOUT a building inspection?

Settlement Statement is a one page document, signed by attorney Shirin Everett of Kopelman and Paige. There is no address on this document. It is not signed by the sellers attorney. I believe this document is shoddy workmanship at best.

It is apparent that K&P attorney Shirin Everett was not following the procedures on the checklist for purchasing a municipal building as posted on the K& P website. If the 21E on the property comes back and indicates contamination, I believe the town should pursue legal action against K&P for not protecting the Town of Templeton’s interest (the taxpayers) in this real estate transaction.

If this happens to anyone else just email me direct cosentinosalvage@hotmail.com put the words "a blog" in the subject line and I'll post this way good comment Olive

Dear Jay-

I want to thank you for your letter in the Gardner News. You have provided the public with one of the best pieces of memorabilia in this historic campaign. I suggest to everyone to cut this letter out and put it in your scrapbook as the best example of negative campaigning and proof of exactly how extreme the mud slinging got in this story.

Is your family so desperate that they have to sling their own mud now? Is it because there is no mud to sling that belongs to your opponents? Why in the world would you reprint those comments about you and your family if they were so hurtful? Not many people had heard them before, but now that you and TGN printed them, they have reached a great deal more of people. That just seems desperate and manipulative. More importantly, you have taken the spotlight off your chosen candidate, Mr. Columbus, and shined it (once again) on your family. How narcissistic of you?

Back in February, you and I had a conversation on LTPS, Inc. facebook page about how awful bullying and harrassing was. You agreed that it was wrong and needed to be dealt with. If that is your true feelings, then why would you write a letter such as this that would spread the divide in our town even wider? What you did is in no way productive or positive, nor did you effectively defend your family's honor.

And another point, you mentioned that if anyone wanted to see the negative words written on this blog, which "may have been deleted by now", you have a copy to share. My question is, in your copy of said posts from this blog, does it include the comments from others who instantly stated any bashing was wrong or did you delete those comments? I believe I had commented on some instances that were not appropriate as well as several others and that person apologized and took the comments down. If those comments are not in your "version", no worries. I have a copy to give you.

Finally, if you want people to vote for Bob Columbus, PLEASE tell the public what his good qualities are, what his ideas are for the future and how he plans on implementing his forward-thinking ideas. Is that so hard to do? Maybe it is. The only comments I have read from ANY and ALL Columbus supporters is negative, name calling words about Ms. Farrell. The message these supporters (and you with your letter) are sending is "it doesn't matter what this guy stands for, this lady is evil and awful and you should fear her...so vote for this guy instead."

Mr. Columbus has not interacted with the public to listen to their concerns, did not show up to Candidate's Night to give a speech, and has not promoted ANY positive ideas or platforms for the future of Templeton. Ms. Farrell has. Ms. Farrell has also provided many many public documents pertaining to town business that back up all of her talking points. It shows credibility. Ms. Farrell is not the one leading all the community groups, blogs and facebook pages. Those were created independently by citizens who believe in getting the TRUTH out and helping this damaged town heal. We feel she is working in our best interest which is why we support her. There hasn't been this many people working together and basic communication in Templeton in decades! It is so POSITIVE and completely opposite of everything you wrote in your letter. This movement goes way beyond this election, as Bev stated. And I believe that if you came home and saw all the positive, community-based things that are happening, you would smile.

Jay, I'm sorry that you felt you had to write that letter. I hope in hindsight you will feel a twang of regret for doing it. Once people like you stop slinging mud, we will welcome everyone to join us in rebuilding the community into a supportive, productive, harrassment-free environment.

252 Baldwinville Rd. - Why I do NOT trust Carol Skelton

On the webpage of our current town counsel, Kopelman and Paige. P.C. there is a checklist on how to purchase a municipal building. It is interesting to note that the law firm of K&P was the attorney of record for the purchase of 252 Baldwinville Road. On this checklist It mentions the importance of: entering into a purchase and sale or donation agreement; Obtain a G.L. c21E site inspection of the property by a licensed site professional; obtain a “Disclosure of Beneficial Interest Statement” and file with the DCAM; Prepare a settlement statement showing closing adjustments and funds to be disbursed
